Summer stop over
We stayed here while needing to be in Nanaimo. If you enjoy the quiet outside the city this is a great place to stay. There are deer in the morning and quiet streets at night. The hot tub was lovely and we appreciated the updated kitchen and bathroom. The property is older than I anticipated.

Family trip
It was a nice trip away from our over scheduled day to day. There is a beach walking distance, and the big yard was a hit with the kids.

Nice and comfortable place
Everything was there for cooking, bbq etc. comfortable beds, definitely go back. The only issue we had were the neighbors dogs barking all the time but, we ended up reporting them and it stopped that night. The other thing were the wasps but, my husband got wasp spray to spray nests.

Relaxing country getaway
The house is located in an area of beautiful landscape--rolling hills, farms, forest. The ocean view from the deck is great when enjoying morning coffee and meals. The house is very well maintained, supplied, and decorated/modern. The property manager was very friendly, personable, and accommodating. We absolutely loved our time here!

Great Amenities and Cozy Home
Our family really enjoyed staying at this beautiful and cozy location. The features outside on the deck, including the hot tub and fire table, were fantastic. We appreciated the sectional inside the home and the options to log into our streaming services. The teens really enjoyed the dart board and the tech equipment. The only minor complaint would be that the kitchen supplies are quite random and more suited for entertaining than a family vacation.

Beautiful Stay
We stayed for a week and it was overall a great experience. We did have some issues but nothing major. We couldn’t get the propane fire table to stay lit even on a calm day so we gave up on it. Unfortunate, because we like to have fires and there is no fire pit. There’s is no cell service here, maybe a single bar in certain spots if you’re lucky and patient enough. This makes it difficult to communicate with the greeter. Which brings me to the next caveat. The view in the last pictures in the ad at the time of reviewing (the ones right down by the water) are NOT taken on the property and as far as we found, there is no access to the water. This property does have a slight view, but very hard to see anything due to trees and other properties. The dogs next door enjoy barking at seemingly anything that moves, which did bother us while enjoying time outdoor on the beautiful wrap around deck. This made it bothersome when letting our dog outside as well. We found the gates for the deck are too short for bigger dogs so we didn’t use them as our dog would have easily jumped over them. Bring your own lengthy leash as well. We would have also appreciated a little more privacy when using the hot tub. We found the one wall facing the rear of the property hardly helped anything at all and probably would have preferred it facing the neighbours property on the side with the steps. The kitchen features lots of counter top space. Great if you enjoy cooking like we do. There seemed to be a lack of pans and an overwhelming number of pots. The bed was very comfortable, although there is no tv in the master bedroom (while there is one in the other bedroom). The bathroom is very comfortable, with a large shower and heated floors. The bidet (toilet) was a new experience for us haha.
