"This is a great resort property. It is secluded, secure, peaceful and the perfect place to enjoy some relaxation. Breakfast buffet is very simple and not much choices. This resort is open to public for people to come in on day passes, some days it felt it did take away a bit from the peacefulness as it tended to be big groups and families. For the price the room is very basic, though the rest of it makes up a bit more as you have easy access to the beach. Being my first time in El Salvador now that I know, I would probably just stay somewhere else and save money and simply pay for a day pass for this resort which is around $12."

"The Garten Hotel was just what I needed. My room was nice and spacious, clean. This hotel is right on a beautiful black sand beach(not rocky either). I loved the al fresco dining. The staff was amazing. I wanted to workout in their gym, and one of the receptionists walked me over to the gym, since it was located on the sister property(the villas) to show me exactly where it was. Food and drinks were good . It was quiet and relaxing, which I loved. I will definitely stay here again."
