"Absolutely awful. The apartment was dirty, greasy even and dusty. We had to clean the whole place and washed the sheets ourselves. Almost everything was broken, the bed, fridge, tv, shower, even one of the things to hang the sheets we washed. Mattresses are the cheapest thinnest available and with the broken slats combined to be the worst bed I’ve ever slept (or not slept) in. The oven was so filthy it filled the whole flat with smoke. "This one bedroom apartment is well presented with good kitchen, comfortable bed and washing machine in a lovely older building. But it is location on the 3rd floor overlooking the markets and evening activities and proximity to many of Turin’s best historical sights that makes it a fantastic place to stay. "Very happy with the accommodation and its very conveniently situated. The staff in reception were one of the most friendly,professionals, helpful i have ever met. Gabriele was amazing with his advice, professionalism and charm. The same can be said for the lovely young man on the evening shift,whose name escapes me,sorry. Overall ,my husband and i would recommend Star Residence and we would definitely stay there again. "

"The staff are super helpful. Laura and everyone helped me figuring out the buses I needed to take. This made my trip so much easier. Thank you. The hotel is 2 blocks from the main train station and many bus stops that take you everywhere in the city. A few blocks from the Piazza San Carlos and the Egiptian museum. Two short blocks from the Roma corso, the main shopping area. Lots of options for food around. The room and bed were small, but clean and comfortable. I would stay again. "

"Great hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. The only downside was that we booked a junior suite, expecting a room with somewhat of a separation between a sitting and the sleeping area but really it just was a more spacious room, I would probably call it an executive room in another hotel. There were also no special junior suite amenities/welcome as I have seen in other hotels. We wanted to upgrade to a higher room but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked the following night. Other than that the hotel was great - we had nice views onto the alps, the pool was great and breakfast had a really nice selection. I would stay again for my next stay in Turin. "
