"The hotel was fine. I would not consider it 5 Stars. The service was good. The room was small, it did not feel like we were staying in a Castle. The hotel does not have parking , you park 5 min away and they send a car to pick you up. Pack light, you will have issues with large luggage. The village does not allow anyone to park inside. I would consider spending less money in another hotel nearby. All and all, it was a good experience "

"The hotel is spotless, in a great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and the local sites. The proprietor, Ellen, is friendly and she makes you feel like you’re at home. We have stayed at this property before, last year, the reason we returned is because of the hospitality. Everyone is so nice and accommodating, the rooms are a good size and extremely clean. If you ever need anything, there is always someone there to help. I would never think of going anywhere else."

There was an issue for a day and half where our master shower was not working due to a missing piece so our family of five needed to use the smaller unit. Not a problem but just inconvenience. "Clean, well equipped property. Exactly as advertised. The location is great- very easy access to many, fantastic sight seeing opportunities. The short drive from the villa to Nazare offers spectacular scenery. Recommend as a comfortable home base for touring the coast of Portugal."
