"B&B Ca' Viro was a truly great find. We arrived by bus (from Sondrio train station) which dropped us right outside the front door - all for the measly sum of €2 each. Our room was wonderful and better than expected. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was excellent. "We paid almost $200 for the room for one night and they put us in a room in the back of the hotel where we had to climb up and down ladders to get to, even though the hotel had a very low occupancy rate. In my opinion, if they ever wanted us to return to their hotel in the future, they could have upgraded our room. On the plus side, they did have a shuttle to take us from and to the train station."

"This was our third visit and as always everything was impeccable. A tiny bed and breakfast in the heart of Chiavenna that out performs some of the bigger hotels in the area. Beautiful room (No 2) with compact but really attractive shower room, coffee making machine and fridge. Easy check in and personalised breakfast order taken. "My wife and I were on our way to Bolzano, and fortunately found this place, secluded up the mountainside. Our hosts were gracious and very accommodating. The views of the valley below were breathtaking. We drove the 1 chilometer to the old church up the hill, and also we went to the little church at the top of the mountain. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place!"

Marco will insist that you squeeze into the tiniest parking space even if the whole lot is empty!
