There were turkey vultures high in the trees every morning which was pretty cool. Good swimming at Monument Beach, about a 5 minute walk away. Lots more beaches within easy drive. Good bakery very nearby. "

Right on the water, we enjoyed early morning coffee watching the fish jump and the birds float along the water. We slept up in the loft and the view out the window at sunrise was just breathtaking. "My family stayed for a week. The house was spotless up on arrival, one of the cleanest houses we have stayed in! It was the perfect size for our family, the location was wonderful and the neighbors renting were so kind. We had everything we needed. One downside was the family staying in the big house kept throwing their dog poop all around the garbage can, which was not pleasant to navigate around when taking out the garbage and yucky to look at.
