Welcome to Cartagena Correa’s Condominiums. Building ‘s name Altamar de Marbella Penthouse 32A .We are only 8 blocks from the old City (Ciudad Amurallada) a taxi will charge about $10,000 in pesos ($4.00 dollars) for the 7 minute drive from the airport.

We own the only Penthouse in the building, with a 360 degree view of the Ocean and Lake.

The 4th bedroom downstairs has 2 twin size beds and a roll out bed.

Girls Trip
I would recommend everyone to stay at this unique property while visiting Cartagena. As a well-traveled person, I look for unique properties that offer the comforts of home along with access to enjoying the local culture. The property's caretaker provided a traditional Colombian breakfast for my friends and me daily, which was a tremendous difference from the typical continental breakfast provided at hotels. The convenience of the beach was understated! The ocean was simply a stone's throw from the penthouse, allowing blissful walks along the coast to watch the sunrise. The security of the building was incredible, and I felt safe no matter what time I entered the building. I highly recommend this penthouse!

This stay offered everything we needed with its location, amenities and spectacular views. The host was always available and the sweetest cook took care of us. It’s not the place to party or have the kids run around but its perfect for adult relaxation.

The Best VIEW in Cartagena!!
Our stay was a whole experience. From the day we arrived, until checkout everything was perfect. From the views, to the location, to the daily breakfast and cleaning service provided by Glenda. Waking up to the view of the sun and beach was priceless. I highly recommend and will definitely be back soon!

The penthouse is very nice, clean and with very nice views in all they rooms( even the bathrooms ). Glenda ( the maid) is very nice and helpful. However if you want privacy while you stay in the apartment this may not be for you. Glenda comes around 8 am and leaves around 2 pm. My family and I felt that we were not free to be ourselves because there was another set of eyes with us all the majority of the day. Also, we had a friend over for lunch one of the days and we had a hard time getting her in because her name was not in the list of occupants. Overall it is a nice place but having a maid in the apartamento should be an option you add or decline. My family definitely had prefer waving that option. Also the building policies are a little bit extreme if you can not invite a friend over for lunch or dinner.

We absolutely LOVED staying here. We enjoyed the penthouse for 7 days and were so sad to leave. 360 degree of the most incredible views ever. From one side, the entire Caribbean ocean, and from the other side, views of the entire city and bay. The penthouse is Very roomy and comfortable offering pretty much anything we needed. Location was fantastic and convenient, but also more private than other beaches. The building is very secure and always felt safe. We loved it so much we actually purchased a three bedroom apartment on the 21st floor with the same views as the penthouse! I know, crazy, but we couldn’t pass it up! Glenda, our maid was excellent, she cooked our breakfast every morning, Kept the penthouse spotless and even finished whatever laundry we had started. The common areas in the building, the infinity pool, jacuzzi, sauna, everything was awesome. We couldn’t be more grateful to the owners and Glenda for the accommodations!! Thank you so much

The building is very secure with 24 hour security. I stayed there with two other friends and it meet our needs. I could see how this would be a wonderful rental for families. For a group of guys we probably should have stayed in the walled city as this was not as convenient as it sounds. The good: Glenda was the highlight of this rental as she prepares coffee and breakfast every morning and works very hard at keeping the place clean. I hope we tipped her well enough as she earned every penny. The location is centrally located in between the airport and the walled city which is where we went most days. There is Uber service in Cartagena and it is ridiculously cheap, you may need to wait 10 minutes or so but it is so easy. We usually ended up getting the black service as it was only about a dollar more. There is a grocery store located near by which is convenient but just be mindful it is not open 24 hours a day so if you are arriving late as we did you will need to wait to till the next day. This is not an area most people would feel comfortable walking around at night. During the day it is fine, no problems and you would feel safe but at night when everything is closed it can feel a bit uncomfortable. Improvements: The main room does not cool down, this is the disadvantage of having the wonderful high ceilings. The bedrooms are nice and cool but the main area seems to always be warm, a ceiling fan would probably help. Make sure to get the floor and apartment number from Ana prior to arrival if you do not speak spanish. The front desk security did not speak english and while having a key is nice, not knowing where it goes doesn't do much good. Not something fun to deal with after traveling 12 hours and arriving past midnight. The TV in one of the bedrooms upstairs was not plugged in and the nearest outlet was 5 feet away, not sure if an extension cord went missing but needless to say no tv in that bedroom. The third day the cable was out and we were told it was a building issue, worked fine the next day. Finally, I asked several times prior to arrival if we could set up massages, no response to the question until the second to last day of our stay, I had our itinerary planned for weeks so this was a no go. I would recommend this rental to families and very large groups that can speak spanish. For a smaller party or non spanish speaking visitors I would recommend something within the walled city. Great location close to the airport and old city.
Great location. The apartment is well situated between the airport and old city. Well within walking distance, about a 15 minute walk to the old city. Views were great, and the owner Ana was very accommodating with our needs. Daily service was provided by Glenda who makes a delicious breakfast and is very attentive to my family’s needs. Overall a positive experience and we look forward to booking the property again in the future. Thank you Ana for assisting us with our requests.

Enjoyed our stay
Was a little pricey for the value given other rentals in the area. Overall the apartment was clean the daily maid service was great. The properties amenities are noteworthy - workout facilities (machines and free weights), community hot tub and infinity pool overlooking the ocean...nice! This isn’t the spot for parties though, the owner has strict visitation policy.
