Everything was exceptional. From walking in the door with the amazing staff (namely James and Benjamin) that helped my best friend and I get settled perfectly. To the everyday cleanliness and spacious beautiful rooms. I will forever book with this boutique hotel when traveling to Cartagena. Such a wonderful hidden gem right around the corner to all the top bars, restaurants and sites in the walled city. According to the front desk, the casa used to be the US Embassy. The hotel has only a few apartments. Our room included a living room, two full baths, laundry room, and a bedroom with a view of the beautiful courtyard. Benjamin at the front desk provided great recommendations and also arranged for transportation. The terrace has a pool and beautifully decorated with amazing views of the walled city and ocean. Highly recommend this place.

This property was a dream from day one until we left! Starting with Benjamin at the reception and the ladies that worked the kitchen, it felt like we were staying with family! The location of the hotel is superb, a walk from everywhere. The roof top pool and the views were excellent. We travel a lot & our main complain are the mattresses & pillows, but not here, best night sleep outside our home. Already planning our next stay at Casa Claver!

James and Benjamin took great care of our family. Casa Claver is in a great location with lots to do. There are 2 pools and the rooftop one offers amazing views of the city. The beds are so comfortable! We’ll be back!
