"This was my 65th birthday year present… the house although dated we loved it… felt extremely comfortable and cozy!! Loved the view!!! Loved the lake accessibly… my kids ( adults) used the kayaks and actually jumped into the lake even tho it’s the end of October!! The swing was nice too. I love the curtains kept the rooms dark and the beds were soo comfortable!!! We think we will be here again "

"We loved staying here. The hot tub and steam shower were a huge plus after a long 9 mile hike in the White Mountains. We will be back here soon and hope to stay at Camp Hattie again! "

"The location and the property itself is stunning. Check-in was easy and property manager and owner were very responsive. PM met us as soon as we arrived. The online pictures are accurate but the pictures themselves don’t do the property any justice-it’s stunning to watch the sunset right in front of you from either the boathouse patio or the upper patio near the kitchen. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the property as much as we would’ve liked because of wedding activities for my son. A few guests were able to go swimming in the morning a couple of the days (our stay was Wed-Mon) and the entire family was able to enjoy our last day down by the dock. Ideally, A few more days would have been preferred , but we just couldn’t work it into the schedule. This is likely more of a Vrbo problem, but be aware that you need to pay extra for any guests over 8. When reservations were made I wasn’t exactly sure how many beds we needed (wedding invitations hadn’t gone out) but I erroneously assumed we paid for up to 16 people. The actual terms dictate that each person over 8 is charged additionally for the entire length of stay -we had 2 additional people that only stayed 2 nights but we were responsible for 5 nights @ $100/night. It was on me as I didn’t read through the actual lease but VRBO should be more specific in this regard on the listing. We would love to actually vacation here again and this is by far one of best VRBO’s we have stayed in."
