The room was upgraded complimentary due to the room reserved wasn’t ready when I arrived at 2:00; check in was at 3:00, but after a very long day in the road, I’m glad I was able to go ahead to my room.

Do not recommend this hotel , they do not take accountability for the way they treat there customers. I was almost harmed and they tried to push the blame off on me.

The staff was very unprofessional. I reserved a room w a jacuzzi and when I went to turn the water on the water pressure mad the nozzle fly off of the tub and hit the ceiling and water was going everywhere. I went to the desk to tell them what happened they accused me of damaging it. It was not handled in a professional matter.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was good. I thought there was a hot tub though from the description, but it's in a room, not accessable to everyone. It was a nice stay other than not having that hot tub 😭

We stayed for 5 nights while in town visiting family. When we first walked into the lobby I thought, it smells nice in here. As I checked in my feelings changed, walking into my room I became uneasy, the bed while made neatly looked like it had been slept on, the curtains looked like they had been left in the dryer and were all rumpled. The skirting on the bed was falling off and the rugs were stained up. The walls were stained and have mold but the bathroom looked like it had a new toilet, vanity and sink and new shower faucet and shower head. The pool was cloudy the first day, and closed the second. They fixed the issue and it looked much better the next. Breakfast was hit or miss depending on who was working it I guess. Our room was cleaned the first day but never cleaned again. We had to ask for toilet paper and towels 2 different times. We were not planning on spending time at the hotel so we just dealt with it. Staff was friendly and hospitable.

Could have been better
I typically enjoy Country Inns. The carpet throughout is very old and has a musty smell. The elevator cab floor had something spilled/not mopped both days. My room door was difficult to open and would not close securely unless I pulled it tight. The bed linens were on the thin side and just mediocre. The TV should be replaced. It was so blue that it was difficult to see. Lastly, the bathroom lighting was very dim. A make up light would be helpful. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is older and was in various stages of renovation. There was also an awful smell throughout the hotel.
