"If skiing Black Mountain, it’s ideal. The main building is attached to the parking lot for Black Mountain and the shovel handle pub; we were hoping to park, ski, eat dinner, and go to the room w/o having to drive anywhere. Unfortunately, the pub closed for a private event but we went to Tuckerman’s restaurant which was about 15 mins away and had a great meal. The main building appears historic; probably 17-1800’s. "We enjoyed our stay at the log home. It was a very chilly weekend, but the cabin was nice and warm even though the upstairs bedrooms did not have heating ducks. There were electric portal heaters in the upstairs bedrooms which we only used for a few hours each night. We will definitely stay at the log home again!!"
