Charming Old Farmhouse, Beautifully Restored - ideal base to explore SW Ireland

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (19)
"Lovely historic farmhouse but still updated with all the modern amenities you'd want. The kitchen in particular is in excellent condition and well stocked. Appreciated that there was even breakfast options like cereals out. It is likely obvious, but should be noted it is not walkable to anything and you must have a car to get to a grocery store, restaurant, town, etc. The hosts brought us fresh baked bread, butter and jam one morning, and it is the BEST bread I've ever had in my entire life. Historic Hideaway in Cork City Centre

8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (3)
"My friend and I stayed one week at the Historic Hideaway in June. We enjoyed our stay very much. The place is clean, comfortable, well equipped, very quiet and at walking distance to the city centre. The apartment was a perfect base to visit (in our case, by foot, bus and train) Cork and its surroundings."

Charming, Modern Masonette in Fermoy River Town

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (29)
"There is not much going on in Fermoy, but it is possible to drive to some major attractions such as the national park if you don’t mind a bit of a drive. The house is very tastefully decorated and well equipped, but it is very small and the beds are listed as queens. If you are coming from America, please note this means full. Not a lot of room for suitcases, but the listing clearly stated how small it was. Overall acute little place, but not really in a destination spot."

THE SANCTUARY, family friendly, with open fire in Killavullen

7.8 out of 10, Good, (7)
"Lovely place to stay but the place is looking a bit tired. Had problems with the hot water not working to start off with. Lacking the basic welcome items ie said there would be milk coffee and tea etc. No milk no coffee just tea. Instruction of how to get there very in accurate but lucky a very friendly local showed us where we had to go. But we did enjoy our stay very much"
