"We were in town for a family function. This spot was close everything we needed and had a room for my mom and my college age daughter. In a hotel, we would have been on top of each other! Very small town. Traffic wasn't bad (daily drive from Hotel to UNC Chapel Hill). Many college students in the area, always people out walking - seems to be bike and pet friendly town.

Carrboro is a sad town. Many of the stores and restaurants were closed. Went to the Cats Cradle to see a concert. Hotel was next door which was very convenient. Parking is a problem in this small town. Its all pay to park.
