Hidden amongst the towering pines and twisting oaks of the Summer Camp Beach Resort, Sea La Vie is a celebration of nature and offers an inspirational refuge to the great outdoors. This peaceful and tranquil home will be your family’s reprieve from the hectic world far beyond the Gulf of Mexico’s sandy shoreline. With a beautiful community pool, secluded walking trails and some of Florida’s most sought-after fishing, this gem along the Forgotten Coast will exceed your every expectation.

Come and enjoy your home-away-from-home in St. Teresa, Florida! This three-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage comfortably sleeps 8 guests and is either a short walk your secluded beach or the relaxing pool and clubhouse.

Inside this beautifully decorated home is an open floor plan flooded with natural light and ample seating for your friends and family around the warm fireplace. We offer high speed internet and Roku streaming-capable TVs, a DVD player for movie night, and numerous board games for all ages to keep everyone entertained as you relive all the day’s activities.

The well-stocked kitchen has stainless steel appliances, gorgeous granite countertops and is equipped with everything you will need for a week’s worth of delicious meals. You will find pots and pans, plenty of cooking utensils, a coffee maker, tea kettle, and much more. Out back, you have a charcoal grill for the fish you’ve caught or the steaks you bought!

When you think of vacation, you think of rest and relaxation, and that is precisely what you will get at Sea La Vie. The spacious primary bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, plenty of storage space, and a smart TV. The en suite bathroom provides comfort and privacy as you start your adventurous day. The second and third bedrooms have a queen bed and two twin bunk beds, respectively; all with high quality linens and a variety of pillows. Both bedrooms share the second full bathroom in the hallway.

The laundry room has a side-by-side washer and dryer, detergent, iron, and ironing board. You will also find the board games, as well as bowls and doggie bags for the family pooch.

Off the back of the house, you have a screened-in porch with seating for eight to enjoy the breeze coming from the Gulf. You also have a stone patio with outdoor seating, plenty of shade and a small fire pit.

Vacationing at Summer Camp Beach Resort allows you ample time to create wonderful family memories without sacrificing comfort. When you’re ready to explore, we recommend starting only two minutes away at the natural and rustic beaches of St. Teresa.

The St. James Bay golf course is a short 10-minute drive away, where you can enjoy challenging conditions for all skill levels. Apalachicola National Forest is 45 minutes away and is famous for the best oysters in the country, as well hunting, fishing, hiking, and trail-riding. At day’s end, stroll along coastal preserve boardwalk and take in the amazing sunsets of the Florida’s Forgotten Coast.

Cute property in a great neighborhood . Two minute path walk to beautiful beach. Fish or just stroll. So nice. Big community pool House had everything. Took our sweet doggie too. We’d rent again !

We were up for the football game and decided we wanted to stay away from the hustle bustle. The house is in a quant, quiet neighborhood. It’s not a far walk to the community beach or pool. I wish we could have stayed longer, we thoroughly enjoyed it! It is truly untouched Florida. The house was spotless and well appointed. There’s just three of us so there was more than enough room.We will definitely be back, thank you for sharing this peaceful retreat ❤️

Great Stay, Lots of Wildlife
Overall, we had a great stay! The place was as described! Tons of room, huge kitchen, lots of TVs. We are incredibly low maintenance and are basically pleased with a clean, warm bed and a place that allows our dog. We were bummed that the dog was not allowed on any of the furniture and spent a lot of the time on the floor/screened in porch with her haha. The host was communicative and responsive. He was prompt to respond with an issue we had with the smoke detector and the pool code. My biggest issue with the location is that I was unprepared for how remote the area is. I was looking for somewhere less traveled and it is definitely that. I do not mean this as a negative to the host or house, simply a warning to someone traveling with small kids. The tall grass trails leading to the beach are teeming with wildlife and we were greeted by a cottonmouth on one of our trips down. Now, I’m from the sticks in Kentucky, so critters do not normally scare me, but I was thankful that the two youngest kids were not with us because they would have definitely been excitedly leading the way and met the snake first. Additionally, this area has black bears and alligators. Pretty awesome, but might be something to consider when traveling with dogs and kids. The beach is great but not necessarily the type for lounging and having kids playing on. A ton of natural vegetation and critters. Again, not a negative overall! Just something to consider when visiting. 😊

This property is in a quiet area that is away from the typical beach environment. It’s great for the nature lover that likes being in the trees. The beach is natural with lots of vegetation and wildlife. The pool was great. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need.

We chose this location because it was the ideal spot to spend time with family away from the hustle and congestion of popular locations. The house had everything we needed: games, internet, fully equipped kitchen, covered porch, access to a pool. The only disappointment was the beach. It was not quite what we expected but it rained most of the time, so the beach was an afterthought. Great for boating not so great for swimming. We appreciated the owner's help and quick responses.

The house is nice and a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed sitting outside next to the fire pit. Everything is as pictured. This is a new neighborhood with a lot of construction. Thus, we felt like we had to be away all day, which was complicated since we had two dogs. The area is pretty rural so it is a drive to the store or for dinner. We went to several nearby state parks and a national forest. One decent golf course is nearby. The beach is au natural with seaweed and coral on the sand. The local seafood was delicious. We actually cut our trip short because we had done everything we wanted to do. Perhaps it would be more fun in the summer but I doubt we will come back to the part of Florida again.

Great Week on the Coast

Relaxing Getaway
The property was just as shown. Lovely home! Very quiet and peaceful even though there is construction taking place in the community. Short walk to pool and beach, enjoyed both. The house was comfortable with plenty of space. Enjoyed being able to prepare meals, eat outside on screened porch and enjoy family and friends. Read a book, put two puzzles together, played cards and watched a few movies on Netflix. Owner, Mike, was very approachable and accommodating. Look forward to a return visit! Thank you!

Great Place!
This was our second visit to Summer Camp. The area and beaches are beautiful. Yes, the beach is "organic;" it's where the beach meets the forest. Nowhere, however, in Florida, during spring break season, can you walk a beach and never see another person! This property was perfect for our party of six. There's plenty of space inside and outside to sprawl out. We enjoyed dinner every night on the screen porch.It was clean and the kitchen is well stocked. The pool, as like the beach, was quiet and serene every day. We like to explore new areas in the south for our spring break but the "Forgotten Coast" is not being forgotten by us; it's become our favorite.

Cozy and quiet
The home was very cozy and nicely decorated. The temperatures ranged from 36 degrees to 78 degrees during our stay and both the heat and air conditioning worked well and kept us very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the close proximity to the beach, which was beautiful, and we nearly always had the beach completely to ourselves, probably because it was cold for the locals but nice for us midwesterners! This neighborhood is growing but still felt very relaxed, and everyone we met was super nice.

We enjoyed our stay at Sea La Vie. The house was comfortable and stocked with everything needed. We especially enjoyed being able to barbecue on the patio. We enjoyed being so close to the beach and enjoyed our daily walks. We were happy to be able to bring our little dog with us.
