"This is a beautiful property and our host was great. It is set in beautiful gardens which I wish we’d had more time to enjoy. My main criteria when choosing somewhere to stay is easy parking and a walk in shower. Only issue was that I’d requested a room with a shower as I find a bathtub difficult. "Stayed here during the 75th anniversary of d-day. On arrival didn't know how to check in but was not a problem as owner lives next door. Great location to easily get to other places. Resident chickens in the garden made our stay welcoming and interesting. One day owner left us fresh eggs and on the last night of our stay left us a bottle of wine and biscuits. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back."
