Abbiamo trascorso 4 giorni immersi nella natura accompagnati dai suoi meravigliosi suoni, un posto ideale per liberarsi dei ritmi frenetici della vita cotidiana. "The small house is in a secluded spot with fantastic views of Castiglione and the mountains, both from the terrace as well as the bedroom. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were a really nice addition. The owners welcomed us with traditional food and wine, which was very unexpected but very welcome when we arrived in the late afternoon. They also provided us with a lot of recommendations regarding both restaurants and fun things to do in the area. We highly recommend the house and plan to be back. "

"Lovely stay, came by train, without a car which we thought might be a bit of a gamble, but worked perfectly. Marco and Claudio were great and helpful at all times. Train service to lucca and pisa was great shops in the town all we needed. Lazy days by the pool and some trips out. Nicely rested! "

"We had a lovely holiday (family with 5 kids, age 11 to 23), peaceful and quiet and with the option to go out for a good meal nearby. Culture and swimming to be found with a car ride of 20 min, a beautiful mountain lake for swimming and nice little towns. Lucca and other more touristic places are a bit further, still good to do by car. The house and garden are spacious with all you need for a relaxing holiday. Nice addition is the separate part of the house which contains a bedroom, a bathroom...

"The views from this property are absolutely breathtaking! While the property is not near any major sights, it is peaceful and beautiful. Fernanda was very responsive to my questions and her husband assisted us in guiding us around the area to point out places to eat and shop with. The pool was enjoyed by the family and we also also had a fabulous dinner grilling outside on the property. The pictures shown on this sight are accurate."

"The property is amazing, loads of space for 4 adults, comfortable and the views are fantastic. The pool was wonderful and Mirko (the property manager) was friendly and helpful. We didn’t have hot water in one of the showers at first, but he fixed the issue relatively quickly. The only downside is the track to the house. It is steep and very bumpy. We were aware of this but even so, the drive was not for the faint hearted!"

We had everything we needed and for the few food items we wanted there are plenty of local shops a short drive away or the very helpful and friendly bar/shop in Casciana-also great for a beer/wine after a walk/day out.
