"We stayed on the coldest day of the winter and arrived very late. We were worried it’d be cold and prepared to bundle up. The cabin was fantastic! Richie, the owner, lives on site and started the heater well before we arrived. It was so warm we had to turn the heat down! The place was clean and cozy, ..."

"It was a sweet little cabin. It could use some restoration of exterior. The shower was dirty. We were unable to shower in the morning of our overnight stay."

Beautiful area, very quiet and relaxing.

Close enough to Mackinaw City to be convenient, but far enough away that you feel quite secluded. Carp Lake, even in the heart of summer, is not a very busy place. Recommended.
