Spring of 2024 updated STREET-SIDE Cozy 1 bedroom condo at Cabana in the heart of Carolina Beach. Perfect for a weekend get-away. Sleeps 2 with King bed in master bedroom and includes top grade linens and towels for the bedroom. The unit has cable tv in the living room and complimentary Wi-Fi as well as a convertable sleeper sectional with mattress topper and linens available upon request! The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances including refrigerator, stove/oven, and microwave, but no dishwasher or washer/dryer. There is a coin operated laundry facility located on the first level for guests to access. This is a non-smoking condo.

There is an outdoor pool, wading pool and parking on the property. No grills or grilling allowed for fire safety. Private beach access located just behind the complex. Gated for added security and parking availability to accommodate 1 car. The unit is conveniently located near the building's elevator!

Enjoy a delightful stroll on the Carolina Beach oceanfront boardwalk. It is now connected to the complex that houses, Just Breathe, and boasts games, restaurants, and the home of the famous Britts donuts. There is dining and live entertainment within walking distance. Opportunities for outdoor enjoyment abound!

Lose yourself in all the area has to offer, including paddle boating on the nearby lake, exploring historic Fort Fisher or the local aquarium, or going to Wilmington and seeing all that the Port City has to offer. You can swim in the pools or enjoy the ocean on your private access beach. Sleep in or get up early to watch the beautiful sunrises accompanied by dolphins and shrimp boats. Every Thursday in the summer, you have front row seats to exciting fireworks displays. There's activity on The Island year-round!

Highly Disappointed
This trip started out on the wrong foot. The check-in instructions were not sent to me until after 8:00 pm on the day we arrived. This was only after I had chatted with VRBO customer service, they provided the contact information for the property manager, and I called 2 separate times. On Saturday my parking pass fell into the center console and I came back from fishing to a boot on my truck. $200 later, it was removed even though I had a valid pass. Throughout the day on Saturday 3 other cars were booted. The last day were stayed, the handle for the hot water broke. This was the absolute worst VRBO experience I have ever had. I have rented through VRBO with great results over the years and have never had any issues with check-in. I will not rent again if a property is managed by Redawning.

Nice beach vacation
Great location. The property is small.. but was fine for just my husband and I. Getting keys were confusing because we were sent two different locations and the email had them switched so it took 30 minutes for us to figure out where to go to get the keys. Because we had to call.. there was no one in the building to help or ask questions. Parking is very very tight. But it was a over all nice place and we enjoyed our stay.
