Charming and historic beach cottage on North End!

Visit Carolina Beach and enjoy “The Simple Life”. This one bedroom, one-bathroom single family home encompasses the classic, cozy Carolina Beach charm.

As you approach the property, you will be greeted by a darling front porch perfect for drinking coffee in the morning or for writing country songs as “The Bones” of the house have heard before. The open concept living room has a sleeper sofa for an occupancy of up to four guests. The beadboard walls carry throughout the property and flow into the bench seating in the dining room. The kitchen has all the essentials including a butcher block island. The King bed is nestled next to the kitchen area. The full bathroom is covered in beautiful varying shades of blue tile to create a coastal feel.

Don't miss a spectacular sunrise, the awesome donuts at Britt's, watching for playful dolphins, Thursday night fireworks on the beach or the Farmer's Market at the Lake. You'll want to immerse yourself in the myriad of activities offered on Pleasure Island. If it rains, head down south the Fort Fisher Aquarium, or check out the historical site. Maybe you want to take a ferry ride over to Southport for the day, or perhaps go hiking in the maritime forest of Carolina Beach State Park.

Last beach trip
This trip was our last trip as a family of three before our new baby arrives in just two more weeks Anna it was the perfect spot for us to stay, very peaceful, in a good area, and close to everything we needed to get to if we needed! We had a great time relaxing at the house for most of the trip and I wouldn’t change anything about it!

I hate to share the secret
Rustic on the outside. Bright and efficient small space inside. I was there for 2 weeks and hated to leave.

The Shack Ri La
I Wanted to spend a week at the beach with just me and the doggo. I gave this stay a high rating but there are some things to know going in: 1. It’s an old house. It’s stood the test of time, but just barely. 2. It’s a vibe. You’ve just kind of gotta lean into the quirks. 3. The place is a 20 second walk to the beach and 15 minute brisk walk to the boardwalk. That cannot be understated. 4. If you sit on the porch, you will notice people kind of stare at the place as they walk by. Just wave and own it. 5. The outdoor beach rinse off situation leaves a lot to be desired. 6. The lot is huge for beach standards. Plenty of space for your dog to find the perfect pee spot. 7. If intruders are a big worry for you, this place may not feel air tight. But the surrounding area feels really safe. As a woman staying by herself, I had no trouble falling asleep. 8. The AC works great. The bed and couch are comfy. 9. The bathroom is tight. I mean airplane tight. But it was clean. 10. 2 blocks from the north end coffee shop. Hits.
