Carolina Family Tides: On the water, boat slip, steps from beach, and VIEWS!

Family Tides is a 3bd 2.5 bath condo in the desired Captains Quarters community of Carolina Beach. The main level of this getaway was remodeled in early 2024 to include a brand new kitchen with upgraded countertops, flooring, appliances, and more. The living area was also remodeled to include new furniture and updated features. The home comes with a brand-new 30 foot boat slip that includes power and fresh water (bring your boat!). Enjoy the day at the beach or spend time at the community pool that's just steps from the condo (open in May, literally steps away). The ground level has a garage with storage and a grass area to play games. The main level (second floor) includes a half bath, kitchen, living area, and large outdoor deck for watching boats go by in the canal. The second story has a large master bedroom with private deck and full ensuite bathroom. The first guest room has two twin beds. The second has a queen bed. The kitchen comes fully stocked with glassware, pots and pans, cooking utensils, blender, Keurig coffee maker and toaster oven. Each bedroom and the living room have brand new smart TVs. A grassy lawn area out back is perfect for yard games. A hightop dining table and chairs on the large main balcony provide and amazing opportunity to enjoy the sunset over the water.

The home does include linens and some essentials!

The Carolina Beach Boardwalk District (1.4 miles away) has a beautiful boardwalk along the beach with shopping, fair rides, seasonal Thursday night fireworks, ice cream shops and numerous restaurants! Everything from housemade tacos to gormet hotdogs! Freeman park, one of the state's only drive on beaches, is half a mile down Canal Drive. Carolina Beach State Park, with boat launch (and fuel station), hiking and biking trails is 2.5 miles away.

Great location for sunset views!
Software System glitches inhibited our arrival process, but finally got information through great responsiveness from owners, who were always gracious and available. A few issues with sliding doors, appliances and plumbing, but overall a great location with pool, and beach close, fireworks display on beach visible from front porch and amazing sunsets.

The place is beautiful with a million dollar view.
The place is beautiful with a million dollar view. I could sit in the swinging porch bench and look at the Marina all day. The location of the condo was close enough to all the restaurants and shops, but yet far enough from all the congestion. I would definitely recommend this place. Only bad thing i can say about the place is it is a little dated. Other then that awesome place.

Quiet with great views!
Out of all the places we have stayed, this is one of our favorites. The sunset views of the channel were wonderful, especially since it was so quiet. The townhouse is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Maggie and Jonathan were excellent hosts and great with communication. We have a 3 and 4 year old, so we were a bit concerned with the walk to the beach but it was very easy and quick. We were able to ride bikes to the boardwalk, it was so close. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be reaching out to see if it is available the next time we visit Carolina Beach!

Perfect for Family Beach Trip
This rental was great for our family beach trip. Access to the beach was very easy, just one block away. Having the pool right next to the unit was a great way to relax after the beach. Also, the view off the back porch over the marsh was really nice. The owners were very responsive to our questions, and the rental was exactly what we expected based on the posting. Thanks!

Amazing trip! The property is family friendly with amazing views of the bay, separate bedrooms, large family kitchen/dining area, and right next door to the pool. We just recently got back from our stay with my husband and 2 sons (6 and 8). The condo was very clean, comfortable beds, beautiful view and the owners were very responsive to messages and questions. My sons loved the pool that was steps away and the close access to the beach. We brought our own bikes and beach gear and was able to store it in the below garage. We wished we would have took advantage of the golf cart that could have been added on! We highly recommend this condo!

Wonderful stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed the privacy, location, cleanliness and views at this property. As a family of 5, we travel to Carolina Beach annually, and we have never felt more “at home” than we did at this place. We really enjoyed having access to the golf cart, and walking a few short steps to both the canal and the ocean (super easy access!). The owners were extremely responsive to messages and very kind. We would love to return!

Everything we needed
This property is fantastic if you love to vacation with a boat. There was plenty of room for trailer parking, a porch on both sides of the condo, a garage for bikes, scooters, etc with a grill for easy access and the pool was about 25 feet away. We also walked to the public beach access a couple of times with ease (very close) and the condo was well stocked with everything we neded. We loved it and hope to stay again. Chris (Salisbury, NC)
