2 Bedroom lodge with leisure facilities, ideal for families, pets considered

This 5 star award winning lodge is modern, homely and well presented for a comfortable stay. The lodge has two bedrooms, one being a double with en-suite shower room,the other being two twin beds, there is also the main bathroom which has a bath and shower, towels are not provided so please bring your own. The living area comprises an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen area which then lead out through patio doors to a timber decking area equipped with outside garden furniture. The lodge offers free private internet/wifi to its guests the network name and password are to be found on the router. A parking area is available to the side of the lodge, grassed areas and gardens surround the properties and the remainder of the site. The site offers an award winning restaurant, bar and indoor leisure facilities including a heated pool, gym, weights room, steam room and a beauty treatment area. The site is located for easy access to the lake district, Yorkshire dales and Trough of Bowland for outdoor activities or scenic journeys. There is the Leighton Moss nature reserve for wildlife and fauna lovers, the coastal beaches for children, and historic cities and market towns for quieter days. Pets will be considered, please discuss with owner.

Absolutely fantastic lodge, perfect location - lovely hosts
Perfect lodge in a perfect location. The lodge had everything you could ask for. Perfect for visiting the surrounding areas. We visited Yorkshire and various places in the Lakes from the Safari Zoo to villages and towns within the Lakes. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

A beautiful lodge that felt like home. Lovely host Jim gave us some ideas of places to visit. The location was perfect. Central to so many beautiful places, the Lake District and North Yorkshire. Would highly recommend and would love to come back and stay again in the future

Marvelous lodge and a really nice couple who own it. Will go again when we have time.
Had a great time in the Lake District, the lodge is a perfect base for getting out and about. Ideally placed for both sides of the motorway and not too far from the shops.The lodge itself is fully furnished so all what was really needed was food and drink.

This is a great property owned by fantastic owners, who still managed to sort everything for our arrival, despite not even being in the same country at the moment! Pity that storm Dennis put a bit of a dampener on our trip, but some spectacular views of the waves crashing in at Morecambe!

We stayed fir 4 nights. The owners were welcoming and informative. The lodge had everything you could need. Very clean. I personally found the mattress too hard which affected my sleep, but that's probably just me as I like a softer mattress. Weather was lovely and the site was also spotless. Looking forward to re visiting in October

Would highly recommend this property. Everything you need and more. The food in the onsite restaurant is good and not bad price wise, even for the drinks as well. The owners were very welcoming. Will definitely return! Just one minor suggestion would be a location plan of the site as the different areas are not well indicated and we got lost trying to get back the first time.

We normally holiday outside of the UK, but in these strange times of COVID we did not want to travel by plane. The lodge is lovely. It was immaculately cleaned and prepared ready for our arrival. It has everything ye needed for a 2 week self catering holiday. The location is great too - 35-40 mins to Blackpool, 20 mins to Morecombe, and around the same to the lakes and falls. Recommended!

Julie & James couldn't be more welcoming. Lodge clean, comfortable & very warm, just what we needed as the weather wasn't kind to us! It also has a bath, which again was very welcome. Lovely staff on site, great pool, not crowded as you have to book in advance. Family friendly, we were allowed a small ball to play with. It cost £20 for a day pass, so we went twice! Excellent food in restaurant too.

Fantastic Lodge
We stayed here in August 20, lovely and clean lodge, 25mins from Lakes, close to Derbyshire. Jim and Julie are excellent hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Highly recommend this beautiful homely Lodge which was spotless. Good site with a pool gym and restaurant.

Half term break...
A lovely property on a very nice site. A short drive from the Southern Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. The owners are very friendly and a pleasure to deal with.
