Note: you cannot walk anywhere from this hotel except the restaurant across the street. Located on HWY 1 and there is no sidewalk or shoulder, so not good for walking anywhere. "

"Tucked just off the main street of Guerneville, California, this quiet collection of comfortable spaces provided the get away I needed. My four legged, furry friend and I enjoyed a newly remodeled king bed suite. It was the size of a studio apartment! Although the bed was too high for my short legs, it was luxurious. My two complaints are more inconveniences than complaints: the WiFi and cell service was so bad that I found myself cut off from the Internet. That’s not really a bad thing. The pool was not heated, so swimming on the last day of summer didn’t happen. If I find myself needing to get away from the stress of everyday life, I will absolutely return to West Sonoma Inn and Spa."

"The hotel was right on the River. The restaurant was great . The owners were super nice, but not the type of owners that get to know their customers. They just say hi and bye and here’s your key. Just mentioning this because we are the type of travelers that like to get to know people a little, so we thought that was strange. Still loved the place. They do have balconies on the river, but we weren’t offered this option, so we were able to sit on the lawn behind the hotel and enjoy the river for a little while. The breakfast was great. Super clean. There are no heaters/ac in the individual rooms, they just have a main thermostat in the hallway set at 66 degrees. Super cute and super safe hotel. "

"Perfect. Remote location. Deli across the street is fabulous and the only thing around so go before 7pm! Hot tub on patio was key. Never saw another human on the property. Amazing. "
