Perfect Coastal Cottage
We had an amazing time. The cottage is perfectly located and made our Carmel trip so special. We enjoyed our stay. We did have some difficulty with the tv’s and getting streaming to be consistent.

This home is ideal. Beautiful, spacious, very clean. Perfect for groups location is very convenient to city center but out of the way and quite. We had a wonderful time.

Carmel Cottage
Out stay for the week was very nice, the Cottage is full of amenities and has a great Kitchen. Its very close to all the shops and offers amazing cozy fireplaces. WE only wish the furniture was more comfortable and accommodating for family style seating up to play games ect.. This did not however keep us from enjoying the cottage.

Ideal stay
We loved this property and how well it is taken care of. Really want to give the property management company much credit for the attention they give this property, everything was as advertised and this was one of our favorite stays in Carmel. The dogs enjoyed the property so much and we appreciated the outdoor space and firepit every evening and morning. It is so hard to find places to bring the dogs and this one did not disappoint. No exit points and great gates to keep them in. We will definitely stay here again. A quick 15 minute walk into town!

Absolutely Perfect!
We loved this property and everything about the charming property! Very peaceful and quiet. So close to everything yet you feel like you are staying in an enchanted garden. The steam shower was our favorite and only wish we would have gone more cooking to utilize the fantastic gourmet kitchen. The fireplace in the master is also so wonderful and cozy. We will definitely come back thank you for everything!

Winter stay
Beautiful old, but well maintained house. Decorations, furnishings, and window coverings are lovely. Location is close to downtown Carmel, but on a shady lot with neighbor’s cars parked all over the street. It rained a lot before we arrived so the outdoor gazebo and fire pit were unusable (too much standing water). Overall a nice stay, but exterior walkways and fire pit need a little TLC.

This is a very unusual property. Very well kept, but not very "user friendly" The decor didn't fit the "Carmel" vibe at all. Chandeliers in just about every room except the kitchen, some very gaudy. 2 kitchens-long and narrow and a huge dining room table but only a full-size bed and a queen bed, so barely allowing for 4 people. There is a murphy bed downstairs in the family room, but no wall for privacy and no bathroom. You can only access the bathrooms through a bedroom. We utilized the backyard firepit area the most. We talked a lot about how we would have built the home to be more useable for family use.

Great location and property!
Loved the property. Very clean, comfortable, and loved every aspect. There isn’t AC, which is common, but the breeze created by opening the windows helped lower the temp. They also provided fans for each room. We would definitely stay here again.

The home was beautiful and clean. Great, quiet location. Short drive to restaurants in Carmel. I hope to stay here again, next time I'm in the area. I also appreciate that the check out process was easy.

Lovely cottage and gardens. Perfect for traveling with our two golden retrievers—fully fenced with hoses for rinsing after the beach. Highly recommend. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful home in a great location!
What a treat! We stayed at Cloudy Bay Cottage for a month (mid-December to mid-January). The home is absolutely charming and so lovingly maintained (you can see it in all the details)! The beds were very comfortable, the home was well stocked with all the basics you would need while there, the location of the property is great, and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. I also highly recommend taking a nice, long bath - the tub is fantastic! It's a wonderful place to relax for a month. The support from Monterey Bay Property Management was also excellent. It was easy to book the property, they communicated well for check-in/check-out, and Kyle is very friendly and responsive for any questions. My husband and I were working remotely part of the time we were there. For those like us, the cell signal is pretty weak in the house. Connecting to wifi to make wifi calls was a workable solution (wifi calls at the front of the house worked best for us), but it encouraged trying to take less calls, which was fine with us. :) We hope to be back to Carmel soon and would absolutely love to stay at Cloudy Bay Cottage again! It's a complete gem!
