Our newly remodeled 1 bedroom executive suite has stunning ocean and mountain views . A large living room with dining and efficiency kitchen provide ocean views from every angle in the suite . There is a queen mattress in the bedroom and a fold out queen temper pedic sofa in the living room that allows the suite to accommodate 4 with ease. There is a private deck with chairs and table to enjoy the best sunsets on the peninsula. The suite is located in a quiet secure neighborhood with plenty of on-street parking. It has it's own private entrance and is a quiet insulated suite from the main house.

Nice place for a weekend getaway
The property was easy to find and was located perfectly for our plans that weekend. Whether you are wanting to visit Carmel, or spend time on the wharf in Monterey, you are only a few minutes from everything.

Enjoyable Stay
Property was very clean and located as advertised. It was rather cold on the night we arrived (we arrived at 11:00 pm). Property was also nice and quiet so we could sleep in. Also had a beautiful view of the ocean.

I loved this place! There was everything I needed and lots of personal touches. The neighborhood is super quiet which made for some great walks. The location couldn’t be better also. I will definitely be back!

A Perfect Place for a Relaxing Vacation
We had such a great week staying at this suite in Carmel. The view of the ocean and surrounding mountains was beautiful and the accommodations were perfect for me and my husband. We loved everything from the private access and quiet neighborhood to the super comfortable bed, the heater/fireplaces on chilly evenings and just everything about this perfect space. Our hosts were warm and friendly, communication was great, and we would highly recommend staying here if you are planning a week in Carmel. It is close to everything and we loved every minute of our time here! Thanks so much!

Perfect little get-a-way spot!
Cute, quaint, and spotless studio with beautiful decor and a very short drive to the beach in Carmel! We enjoyed our stay very much and toured many beautiful areas in Carmel, Pacific Grove, and Monterey. The bed is very comfortable. I brought along my heating blanket and slept like a baby. We didn't want to leave but came home from our vacation rejuvenated. Thank you Craig and we hope to visit again soon! :)

A perfect weekend gateway - for couples or families!
We had a terrific time in Carmel! This place is only about 7-10 mins away from Carmel downtown and beach, an easy drive... We traveled with our young girls, and they really enjoyed it! The condo is very well kept, and extremely cozy. At sunset, my wife and I were able to sit out by the porch and taste some local wine, while also able to enjoy the amazing ocean views. Craig, our property manager, did a great job in making sure we had a great experience. We also got to meet the owner, who made our stay very comfortable. We definitely intend to go back, highly recommended!

Quiet yet close to everything
We highly recommend this suite! Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and furniture, a lovely bathroom, tranquil outdoor space... and so quiet. Parking could not be closer! We were minutes walk from Fairy Tale Cottages, the amazing beach, dining, and even a convenience store. Also close was the Pacific Coast Highway, and the 17 Mile Drive. Last but not least, Craig was so helpful, even before our trip. The sole drawback for some is no a/c, but this is common where nights are pleasant. We opened windows and were fine. A great place to stay!

Great Rental
We stayed at the Pt Lobos rental for 8 days - a combo business and pleasure trip. Worked out great and we'd stay there again. A 5+ minute drive to "downtown" Carmel but without the Carmel By The Sea pricing. Only issue was that the sound didn't work on a new TV in the living room. Couldn't figure it out so we called Craig, the property mgr, who came over within 30 minutes and got it fixed. Excellent response.

The place was very clean and well appointed. The drawback was the smell. The closet in the bedroom wreaked of mildew and it smelled throughout. My clothes all smelled of mildew. It’s not cool to go out in public smelling of mildew.

Comfortable, quiet, home-away-from-home
I had to rent this property at the very last minute, due to mudslides and road closures in the Big Sur area. Craig was so helpful to get everything set up for me in record time. I could not have been more pleased with this "Plan B"! Clean, comfy, every amenity. Beautiful neighborhood! I felt like a local for a few days. And the view is stunning.This is a great rental for someone traveling alone - I felt safe by myself in the unit and the neighborhood. But, I imagine it would be a super-great romantic getaway for two as well. And the best bonus: the bed is AMAZING!!! Thank you, Craig, for a wonderful place to land at the end of the day!

Modern, updated. Usable kitchen appliances. Comfortable. My personal issue were stairs to unit. I’m arthritic and steepness of driveway and lack of more hand rails on short stair level was difficult. Easy fix for owners. Views were shrouded in fog on my stay. Owner responsive as was property mgr during an internet issue. Really nice, quiet neighborhood. I recommend.

A wonderful retreat in the quiet woods!
My husband and I stayed at this property after our Kauai honeymoon plans fell through. The 1-bedroom studio space was perfect for us, and there were gorgeous views of the ocean and hills in the distance. I was a big fan of the library exchange (take a book and leave one behind), so definitely bring along a book if you want to participate! The WiFi and Netflix were nice for relaxing in the evenings after everything was closed, and the electric fireplaces were a good heat source in the chilly evenings. If you’re looking for a quiet place in a woodsy neighborhood where you can commune with nature and center yourself with the help of the nearby ocean and trees, this is the place! Don’t forget to take leftovers home if you enjoy nice dinners in town; the studio has a fridge and microwave, so you can enjoy some food there. Highly recommended!

Perfect for a Carmel Getaway
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cozy unit. The location couldn't have been better. The access to the village was quick and convenient. As a result we were there more often than if we had stayed further away. And, access was not by getting out on Highway 1, which is very congested, which made it even better. You just have to cross Highway 1 at a stoplight. The unit was nicely appointed and served our needs well. We were not looking for a place to cook, although you could easily have utilized the microwave and toaster oven to make light meals. The bathroom was well-equipped with soaps and a hairdryer which made it easier to pack. Although we choose to visit Carmel at a time that is very overcast, the view was terrific. Had there been more sunlight, we definitely would have enjoyed a glass of wine and some appetizers on the porch. Parking was easy at the curb and I agree with other reviewers that I would stay out of the driveway. It's easy to get to the unit from the street and you still have to climb a few stairs even from the driveway to get to the front door. So you don't lose anything by NOT using the driveway. We would come again! The price was right for the quality and proximity to central Carmel.

Fantastic experience - property is well located, maybe 6 min. from the quaint shops/restaurants in Carmel and from 17 Mile Drive. Lovely mountain view from the cushioned, adirondack chairs on the front deck. The apartment is below the home of the owners but we NEVER heard them at all - they are very nice and considerate. They have gone above and beyond to make their guests comfortable - coffee pods, tea bags, creamers, lots of extra blankets/pillows, extra paper towels/TP, 2 beach towels, books to borrow/swap, shampoo/conditioner/shower soap. Property manager was very responsive, professional, kind and went out of his way to make our visit comfortable. Highly recommend this lovely place - thanks for having us. Must do: rent e-bikes and take a tour or a self-guided ride along 17 Mile Drive. We rented through Big Sur Adventures (I’m just a customer without any kickbacks from this shout out!) Weather here is gorgeous but coming from the East Coast - bring layers - one min it’s cold and the nexts it’s hot (July!)

We were very happy with our stay. It was very clean and was on a nice quiet street yet near everything. The only minor things are you can hear the tenant above walk down the hall, push back chairs, run their dryer, etc. and the windows are all at driveway level. We would book it again if we are in the area.

Somewhat misleading
The inside of the unit was beautiful but getting to the front door was challenging. We knew there was a steep driveway but did not know there was also a curve in the drive which made backing uphill very challenging. The owner was gracious to back up our SUV for us (several times). The described ocean view was a far away ocean view but great sunsets were spectacular.
