The space
Swn Y Gwynt was formally a milking shed to the farmhouse next door. It has since been converted and lovingly renovated to provide guests with an ideal base to explore what Carmarthenshire has to offer.
Ground floor:
As you walk in to the property, you will enter the open plan living/ dining area. The area is perfect for relaxing and spending time together after a busy day exploring the Welsh castles, walks and beaches nearby.
The living area benefits from comfortable seating for guests to relax and enjoy the smart tv (guests will need to use their own Netflix/ Amazon account details while staying).
The dining table seats four guests.
Leading off from the living/ dining area are the kitchen and bathroom.
Kitchen appliances include kettle, toaster, microwave and air fryer as well as larger appliances such as the fridge/ freezer, electric hob/ oven, and washing machine.
The bathroom includes bath with over head shower.
First floor:
The two bedrooms are both located upstairs. Both have been stylishly designed with comfort in mind.
The master bedroom with double bed includes a dressing table, bed side cabinets as well as in built storage wardrobe.
The twin bedroom provides guests with two single beds, bed side cabinets as well as an in built storage wardrobe.
Exterior:
There is off road parking for up to two cars directly outside on a private drive. The area can be seen on the photos attached.
Guests can also enjoy an enclosed outdoor area at the front of the property which will be fenced off to give a secure space for pets and children to enjoy during the warmer months.
We provide complimentary tea and coffee, as well as travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is Londis supermarket within a 5 minute drive away as well as a Tesco Extra 10 minutes away.
Fresh white bedding and towels will be provided (hand towel and bath towel per person).
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole property.
Other things to note
The property is ideal for families, however guests will need to bring their own travel cot/ high chair should they need these items as we are not able to provide.
This property does have a small outdoor area, this is directly outside the front door and will be fenced off securely. We are happy to accept pets at the property and there are many lovely walks nearby for them to enjoy.
Parking-
Off road parking on the drive to the property. Space for at least 2 cars.
Check in/ Check out-
Check-in time is after 4pm and check-out time is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this could cause disruption to other guests.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys we require guest verification, which is provided by Superhog. Upon confirming your booking, Superhog will reach out to the lead booker through a secure link, providing detailed instructions for verification.
The online verification process requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once verification is successfully completed, the check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
