"Beautiful, elegant hotel with lovely public rooms, ie bar, restaurant. My room had a great sea view. The wall paper was a little dated, but nothing to worry about. When I ran a bath the water was brown - I guess because of either old pipes or recycled rainwater? But it would have been good to have a note explaining it in the bathroom, so I felt reassured to take my bath (I didn't!). Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful on the whole. The views, the walks and the convenient sporting equipment were great, looking forward to using them next visit."

"Booked to meet a friend at short notice. The staff were charming and very friendly. The room was extremely clean warm and comfortable. I think we will be making a habit of staying at the Jamaica Inn as it’s equal distance between Great Torrington and Falmouth where we each live and it enables us to meet up more often with our very busy working schedules. "Ignore the negative reviews the hotel was excellent. We arrived to find ample parking and the positioning of the hotel was perfect with a walkway right into the harbour area. The hotel looks like it has had a fairly recent upgrade and was in good condition. We had a nice room with a king size bed and view over the harbour area. Plus the room had a minibar and tea and coffee facilities. Had dinner in the Jetty restaurant the first night which was good washed down by a nice Sicilian Pinot Grigio. Had breakfast in the room on the first morning which arrived exactly on time and was exactly as ordered. The second day we had breakfast in the restaurant which had a free continental breakfast which offered ample choice but for an extra £10 we upgraded to a full English which was freshly cooked. The staff were all very friendly and helpful which enhanced our stay. Overall a nice two day break and if returning to Padstow would definitely stay at the hotel again."

"Beautiful hotel! Stayed for one night with my boyfriend and I couldn't fault it. All of the staff were so friendly and the spa facilities were spotless. We had dinner and drinks in the Bay Bar which was lovely, a little pricey but to be expected for the quality. The hotel is situated right next to Fistral Beach and the views are amazing!! Thank you for a great stay, we will definitely be returning."
