Many of the original elements have been retained, such as the large and beautiful fireplace in the living room and the old wooden beams in most of the rooms. Well-equipped bedrooms, a modern kitchen and a spacious living room with leather sofas add to the beautiful living ambience, and a high fence around the garden assures you enough privacy outside. On warm summer days you can use the barbecue terrace, and in winter you can cozy up by the crackling fireplace. Nearby are the beautiful beaches of the Côte d'Opale, and 15 km away is Boulogne-sur-Mer with its old fortress and a fishing port where you can buy fresh fish. Possible day trip destinations include Montreuil, Saint-Omer and Le Touquet-Paris-Plage.
