We used the location to explore the region and had easy access to Sarlat, Beynac, Castelnaud, Domme etc. Highlight was a kayak trip on the Dordogne river past castles and beautiful villages. Also a day in Montignac to see Lascaux. We enjoyed the well marked hiking trials that left right from the house.
