"The hotel is nice, but quite old. The room was certainly not worth the 4-star rating. The food was good but not exceptional. The staff were courteous, but, due to several different teams working there, some things were overlooked (for example I was not told that, on a specific evening, there would be no dinner before 8:30pm - to their credit the restaurant staff did make me a sandwich at 7:30pm, as I did not want to wait until 8:30pm to eat). Having the tennis courts and pool available, as well...

The reason that I rated it so low as my husband and I would wake up with insect bites that we first thought were mosquito bites because he had found a few mosquitoes in the room. "The hotel doesn’t feel four star until you get to your room which we liked . However there was noise from other rooms which could be easily heard . On our last night a large gathering of local people was hosted in a conference room and the music was thumping until 11.15 so it’s not just a hotel for tourists ! The bar staff were all excellent and so helpful . The reception staff were a bit ‘cool’. The shuttle bus into town is a great service. The small beach is nice and we used it twice "

"The room was new and very comfortable. We stayed on the 3rd level which had a large balcony. We practically lived outside. At night it was so quiet and pleasant. Parking is available on the street. When you arrive, call the number on the door and they show up within 10 minutes. "

"Amazing breakfast, great service, very clean hotel. We loved that we were able to park our car without any issues. My son loved their playground and the pool was very large. the beach is right across the street. The staff was friendly and our room had a very nice large balcony. We wish the beds weren’t as firm, but other than that we have no complaints and would recommend the hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Alghero. "
