Situated at the end of a quiet lane with views of fields and pastures, Pant y Dwr Bach is perfect for an all-year round break that allows you to escape from the hustle and bustle of the town and cities. Be prepared for peace and tranquility - and only 3 miles from Cardigan town and a 5 minute drive to the outstanding Mwnt beach with jaw dropping views of Ceredigion's coastline. Make the most of your stay by going dolphin spotting, joining the coastal path or watching the sunset at night.

The space
A high quality, Pet friendly two-pet limit holiday cottage in beautiful West Wales and only 2 miles from the sea! Pant y Dwr Bach is a converted cow shed which hosts a large and light open plan kitchen and diner on the ground floor, which is well-equipped for guests. The ground floor also hosts a cosy and stylish living room, which opens out onto a private patio, with outdoor furniture and a BBQ.

The twin bedroom is located on the ground floor with an accompanying bathroom.
The piece de resistance of Pant y Dwr Bach is the master bedroom which has its own balcony overlooking the fields and hills, perfect for some peace and quiet after a busy day exploring the coastline. Pant y Dwr Bach is ideal for those looking for a uniquely tranquil get a away from it all.

Guest access
Guests will need a car to get around as this is a very rural area.
There is room for 2 cars to park outside the cottage - please do not bring caravans or vans as the space is only enough for cars and the driveway is relatively narrow!

Towels and bed linen are professionally laundered and hired.

Local handmade hand and bodywash are provided which are handmade in our local town of Cardigan.

Supermarkets
Local shop and petrol garage is located on the main A487 Aberystwyth Road 2 mins drive from the cottage. Tesco supermarket is located in Cardigan and is 5 mins drive away. Aldi supermarket is near Tesco and is a 6 min drive away. Cardigan main centre is located 10 mins drive away.

Local Restaurants
In Cardigan town centre there are various restuarants all about a 10 min drive away including 2 fish and chip shops, a Chinese, 3 Indian restaurants, 2 Kebab shops also selling burgers and pizza. Plus there is a Mexican restaurant selling street food plus a wood fired pizza restaurant on the riverside. There are several lovely bars all within a 10 min drive : The Ferry in St. Dogmaels, The Tefi Riverside in Poppit and Flat Rock in Gwbert are a few of the best, offering great food and views of the sea.

Local Attractions
Cardigan has its historic Castle right in the centre. There is a wildlife park just on the outskirts where you can see the wild birds that migrate to the area from the Hydes and it also has water buffalo and offers tranquil walks. The near by village of St. Dogmaels has a ruined abbey plus it hosts outdoor plays in the Summer time. Poppit sands is a stone's throw from the abbey and is great for bathing. Mwnt beach is also highly recommended for its sandy beach plus ancient stone chapel.

Trains
The nearest train line is Carmarthen which is 30 miles away.There is also Aberystwyth at approx. 40 miles away

Buses run frequently from Penparc into Cardigan
