A five minute walk from Ty Capel Seion is the historic and beautiful ruins of St Dogmaels’ mediaeval Tironensian Benedictine abbey. Here you can enjoy a freshly brewed coffee whilst taking in the ruins. For walkers the Preseli hills are a must and don’t forget to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast footpath which covers some 180 miles. The town of Newcastle Emlyn which lies on the River Teifi is a must when visiting, the market town has a host of boutique and craft shops.
The market town of Cardigan has a host of restaurants focusing on local produce and there is a fantastic market which sells lots of locally grown food and handmade gifts. Take a boat trip to spot dolphins or travel upstream on the River Teifi and visit the majestic Cenarth Falls, time it right and you may even catch glimpses of the salmon and sea trout as they leap upstream.
