After a day of exploring, relax and refuel - the village has two traditional pubs serving food and real ales or just a ten-minute drive will get you to the popular seaside town of Porthcawl for some fish and chips!
If you’re heading out for the day, then Cardiff or Swansea are vibrant cities with plenty to see and do. Visit the castles & museums and indulge in history, or treat yourself to some retail therapy, see a show and enjoy some of the bars and restaurants on offer. Cowbridge is also a popular spot for boutique shopping, with a range of independent shops and restaurants lining the pretty market town. For a more sporting day out, South Wales has some popular country parks and coastal paths - great for mountain biking, hiking and walking. There are also a few golf courses nearby, including The Royal Porthcawl Golf Course - recognised as the number one golf course in Wales. Beach 30-minute walk.
