"It‘s a very chill hostel with a little kitchen and chill area. Friendly Staff and it’s quite calm and clean. They also offer lockers where you can put all your personal belongings. I‘d recommend doing so because sadly some money was stolen from my luggage when I left it unsupervised for 15 minutes. But that was my mistake. All in all, I can recommend this hostel. "

"Great location right by Diagonal Metro station and the main shopping streets, so a good base. Surprising quality accommodations for a hostel. Only slight issue was a slight stale bathroom smell in our private room but it really didn’t affect our stay. I would use again. "

"I stayed 11 nights for working and pleasure purposes and I enjoyed my stay. The Internet connection is reliable and fast for working. My room was a good size with a nice desk, sofa, TV with Chromecast and the bed was very comfy. Bathroom was spacious and the shower worked marvelously. Property is well maintained and it's close to 2 metro stations for 2 different metro lines, L1 and L4."

"We were occupancy of 4 in 1 room. 3 adults and a 15 year old. The room we were accommodated with was spacious for 4 of us. Before our arrival, we were procided an online check in to input all our documentation so it was a smooth arrival! The hotel perosnnel also reached out to me via WhatsApp so the communication was so easy and free, especially it was an international deatination. There are so many cafes and supermarkets around. Best Weekend away!

"Me and my mate really enjoyed our stay here at Occidental! We were in Barcelona for the Half Marathon and this hotel was the perfect place to relax and rewind after our long days. We were offered complimentary champagne on arrival and check in was super smooth. The pool and spa facilities were fantastic, really adding that extra recovery and comfort to our stay. The buffet breakfast was so great with a variety of different food options. To finish off the room was very tidy/clean and the beds were very comfy indeed! Staff were super helpful, we will definitely return sometime soon."

Excellent hotel

"great hotel - really warm welcome, very clean and tidy all round. Good bar with a bit of atmosphere, convenient location and good value. My only constructive feedback would be to lose the comedy ironing boards ! 🙂 tiny little ironing boards that action man would struggle to fit his jumper on.... other than that, had a lovely stay, thank you."

"The property is upgraded and good. i stayed in the junior terraced suite and really enjoyed it. the view is beautiful and it's in a quieter part of the city but still extremely close to everything if you are a walker or want a quick uber. the only downside is there's no restaurant attached. instead they have a third party do room service and the food is NOT good. we literally tried 4-5 things from the menu plus desserts and didn't eat ANY. we ended up getting Bkyny burgers.there are plenty of options for ubereats though and it's the perfect location. i enjoyed my stay and am staying again!!"
