Very nice quiet apartment of 110 sqm, in building of character with stained glass windows, moldings, high ceilings, beautiful volumes. Completely renovated for 6 to 8 people. 1 bedroom with 140 bed, 1 bedroom with 2 beds 140, sofa bed 140 in the living room, 1 large bathroom with Italian shower. Separate WC.
You will stay in Square Gambetta, ideally located 10 minutes walk from the medieval city and 5 minutes from the city center. In summer the municipal pool is 10 minutes walk along the banks of the Aude quietly
Free parking 2 minutes or fee just in front of the apartment. Station 10 minutes walk. Airport shuttle 2 minutes.
You will find everything necessary for a pleasant stay: washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, sheets and towels provided, kitchen.
A private and shaded courtyard of 35m² will welcome you for a moment of relaxation after enjoying our beautiful region.

Carcasonne weekend
The apartment is in an excellent location. We had 2 nights and we could walk to the castle city within 10-12 minutes and we were also near to the city centre the other side and had a lovely tapas meal out .

We had a lovely stay , only one concern were the lumpy cushions used for pillows, other than that the apartment was clean , spacious ,and well located. Beautiful details , especially the shower !

Great location and quirky apartment
Stayed for 3 nights in May 2024. The apartment is really quirky, well serviced and contains all you need for a short stay. The location is excellent 3 mins walk from the bridge to the old town and 3 mins from the new town centre with its lovely shops and restaurants. There is a little road noise in the front bedroom. The outside space wasn’t really usable for my family.

Lovely time in Carcassonne
Wonderful location close to the town and a short walk to the old bridge to go the cite. Perhaps a bit dark but the evenings were fine.

Très bien mais
Logement vraiment spacieux pas du tout déçue ! Quelques petits bémols néanmoins qui aurait pû rendre le séjour parfait comme le micro onde qui n'était pas nettoyé et vraiment très sale que nous avons dû nettoyer à fond pour faire chauffer les biderons de notre enfant, la chaleur dans les chambres et la literie plutôt bof, les produits à disposition qui était périmés qu'on a dû racheter pour nous mais sinon séjour agréable

Top locatie en heel groot appartement met alles er op en eraan. Enige puntje is het parkeren, maar goed dat is te verwaarlozen op deze mooie accommodatie.

Fabulous place to stay!
This is a wonderful place to stay. It is located close to the town and to the cite - so you can walk to both for a great holiday. It has a lovely outdoor area which was sunny but cool and the house was a haven from the hot weather. The check in and check out process were easy and as explained beforehand. Thank you - we will be coming back again to visit.

Good location
Location is excellent - 20 minute walk to old city. Rooms are large. Living and dining area good, bedrooms not so good. Bedroom with 2 doubles was dark and not especially clean. Very strange bedding all of which is old and needs replacing. Pillows were awful. Electrical sockets in unhelpful places. Kitchen well equipped. Outside space could be charming but it was dirty and had poor quality furniture. Needs an upgrade. Towels were also limited in supply and poor quality.

Prévoir demander d’avance une serviette à mains pour la salle de bain. Le stationnement est sécuritaire, malgré qu’il ne soit pas contrôlé. Par conséquent, il se peut que vous arriviez et qu’il n’y ait plus aucune place de disponible. Il y a cependant des endroits publics où l’on peut se stationner, à quelques minutes de marche. Sinon, tout était parfait ! Sonia répondait très rapidement à nos questions et demandes.

Estuvimos con la familia. El piso muy acogedor. Muy céntrico y con bastante zona para poder aparcar aunque hay horas que hay que pagar. Las camas cómodas aunque las almohadas no mucho. La pena que solo tiene un WC. Nuestra valoración global un 8'5.

La casa muy bien, tiene todos los servicios, sintiéndolo mucho tengo que decir que la zona a pesar de ser céntrica no es segura, nos destrozaron el coche a nosotros y 9 vehículos más, nos robaron incluso la silla de ruedas eléctrica de mi marido, los vecinos de la zona se portaron genial, pero tambien nos indicaron que estaba pasando muy a menudo. Los propietarios de las viviendas de alquiler deberian movilizarse para evitar esto, la policia ni se acerco, después de comunicarselo a la dueña de la vivienda me dijo que era cierto cosa que me fastidió aún más porque si me hubiera avisado quizás la silla no se hubiera quedado en el coche, los últimos días no salimos de la casa.

Ideal position
Easy to find. Very well positioned for both medieval city and centre of Carcassonne. Didn’t realise it was a basement property with one bedroom close to the main road. However it suited our needs and enjoyed our stay.

Nous avons pris possession de l'appartement avec efficacité. Les codes de la grandeporte ainsi que la porte de l'appartement via une boîte à code ont été efficace. Lorsque les propriétaires ne sont pas sur place,ce fonctionnement marche bien. Nous avons découvert un bel appartement bourgeois. En revanche, nous étions déçu de ne pouvoir ouvrir les fenêtres côté rue car nous étions au niveau du rez de chaussée, au niveau d'une rue très passante. Séjour un peu sombre à cause de la rue. Belle court privative. PS : il est temps de changer certains ustensiles de cuisine qui vieillissent notamment les poêles. Nous avons passé un beau séjour!
