1907Creekside Cabin w/ hot tub & sauna; bike, hike, ski & fish- Go Back in Time
Savor an unobstructed view of majestic Mount Sopris from the kitchen picture window as you prepare meals in the newly updated retro style kitchen or the outside BBQ in the "barn," a covered ramada. Sip your favorite beverage or enjoy a meal in the outside barn as you relax and enjoy the splendid Mount Sopris view across acres of open fields. Appreciate the added spaciousness of the open lofted master bedroom outfitted with a unique barn wood bed frame and a private outdoor patio beside Thompson Creek. Sink into and relax in the claw-footed bathtub and enjoy the turkish bath towels. Walk across the road to bike the Crystal Valley Trail for breathtaking views of the Crystal River and Mount Sopris; continue on to join the Rio Grande Trail west into Glenwood Springs or east into the Roaring Fork Valley both with awe inspiring views. Drive less than 38 minutes to ski at Aspen, Snowmass, Buttermilk or Sunlight (15 minutes) and return to unwind in the covered salt water hot tub with a view of Mount Sopris. Or sweat and warm up in the sauna! Fish the nearby Frying Pan, Roaring Fork, Crystal or Colorado Rivers. Take pleasure in two separate sitting areas; one in a common area, the other attached to bedroom two overlooking Thompson Creek.

Amazing place w/a picture window view of Mt Sopris. So comfortable and relaxing. House was pristinely clean. Homeowner also gets an A+ for prompt response to all questions we had.
Love this place! 5 miles from town, out in the country, complete with cows next door. Very peaceful and relaxing with a fantastic view of Mt Sopris from the patio. We soaked in the hot tub every day. There are 3 steps in-between most of the rooms, so a rather unusual layout. Large bathroom, comfortable furniture, fun kitchen, gas grill a plus. A really fun stay!
The cabin is very cozy and we loved the location. Everything matched up to the pictures and online description, and the owner was great with any questions we had. The views and location are stunning. Highly recommend!
2nd year in a row I’ve stayed here. Out of the fray but still quite convenient to Carbondale and Aspen if you don’t mind a little drive. Very peaceful after a great day skiing.
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The location is beautiful and quiet, but close to the conveniences of town. Loved listening to the creek at night.
This was our second time staying at Lynda’s cabin and we love the addition of the sauna. The cabin is warm and cozy and a great place for a family to relax. We hope to be back again soon!
The cabin lived up to all of the previous reviews ... we stayed here 16 nights while visiting my 84-year old father who lives in the area ... was a great home for us during this time. Relaxing. For those who are sensitive to the dry air of higher elevation, it seemed that being so close to the rushing stream mitigated those effects. We hope to be back!
This cabin is adorable. It has everything you need plus--an awesome view of Mt Sopris, a hot tub and sauna and "The Barn"! These areas helped make our stay very special.
We loved our stay! The cabin is beautifully decorated with so many charming elements, from the photo book with old photos to the bathing salts. There is so much to do in the area and this made a great place to return to relax. I would definitely stay again!
Our stay in the 1907 Cabin was a dream come true. The setting was incredible. We watched sunrises and sunsets from the hot tub and enjoyed the detox of the sauna. The cabin itself was adorable and rustic and perfect. We will DEFINITELY be back.
We had such a great time on our trip and the cabin made it even better. It was nice to come back to a comfy bed and have a warm place to stay. Thank you for a great getaway!
This was our second stay at this adorable, cozy cabin. Our family of 4 finds it perfect for our needs when we are in town for a weekend of skiing and hot spring action. The location is great with amazing views of Mt. Sopris. The cows and animals on-site are a great touch for the kids and just general staring out the windows. Comfy beds and linens, towels and toiletries. Nothing more we could ask for and we look forward to staying again for our next Glenwood/Carbondale trip!
We really enjoyed the rustic, close to everything cabin. If you are looking for a hot tub with a view, this is your place! Thank you for having everything we could need. :)
Fabulous old cabin with all the amenities u need. Great location just outside of Carbondale - you can still enjoy restaurants in town and fly fishing in the surrounding area.
Great cozy cabin in Carbondale. Has pretty much everything you need for a nice trip to the area. Nice and quiet (unless you are bothered by the neighbors - the cows and roosters!) We look forward to visiting again!
