"Great-sized apartment within walking distance of the main station and Edinburgh Castle. Check-in was a very easy process; you get check-in details and code before arrival. Lovely molten brown products in the bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped, and it was also nice that the apartment had both a shower and bath. "This is student housing. We brought our own pillows from home, which I would recommend. The beds are small, but was fine for us because we were prepared for the size/situation based on other reviews. Bathroom is tiny. Rooms are not cleaned during your stay unless you pay extra. If you have accurate expectations you will enjoy your stay here- the staff was REALLY FRIENDLY and accommodating-- the actual room was as expected, because we were expecting a dorm room! :) "

Couple of relatively minor points- the apartment is quite big, the bed is too small and not that comfy. Our apartment was modern, clean, comfortable and quiet, even though we were in a busy area and there was construction going on towards the back of the building. More than enough space for our family to stretch out and relax after long days of touring the city! When we are out, there were 2 occurences of entry. One left the living room lights on and the other cleared our trash.
