Flashing Moose Glamping on the Kennebec River
About this space
Glamping has begun. Our new 2023 glamping tent is up! This is a nice roomy 12x14 canvas tent on an elevated platform, nice and dry. Furnished ! There is an echo here, good fishing bald eagles loon the Appalachian trail, a 14 mi lake, a sense of what really feels like solitude, with a few cool bars and restaurants down the road, near the whitewater rafting. One or two days is barely enough, to go 4 wheeling mountain biking panning for gold stargazing fossil hunting fly fishing boating is amazing
The space
We have our brand new 2023 12x14 canvas tent furnished with a futon, sidetables and such, adding more as we go. We have a full compliment of twinkle lights, two outdoor chairs, and jugs for river water, and solar shower bags. Bring or buy some firewood locally, no scavenging onsite. This is still camping, so bring your sleeping bags, pillows, toilet paper, drinking water, solar chargers, flash lights, and whatever cool camping gear and food supplies you have including trash bags. You must take all trash with you! Also a racoon might rip open the garbage.
Guest access
You have our new tent! Your own firepit and some lawn space. Porta potty is shared.
Other things to note
Both an old 2 seater outhouse, and a Porta Potty are on site, bring TP just incase. There are jugs to gather water from the river and solar shower bags to warm it up but plan on bringing drinking water.
NO FIREWORKS
WE DEMAND ABSOLUTE FIRE SAFETY! but be sure to have a campfire under the stars : )
There is a camping site also for rent separately, check it's listing and calandar, you can rent them both to have the space to yourself or bring more friends !
