ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
HUGAU APT is a tastefully and modernly furnished flat located in the town of Carate Urio. It is spread over one floor and consists of an open-space living room and kitchen with TV area, sofa bed and dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. The living area is very bright thanks to the French window leading onto a terrace furnished with table, chairs and deckchairs from which you can enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Como. The sleeping area consists of a double bedroom and a complete bathroom with shower and washing machine.
Internet wi-fi is available throughout the house.
There is no air conditioning, but fans will be at your disposal.
The property doesn't have a private parking space. Free public parking spaces 500 metres from the flat.
The apt can accommodate up to 4 people.

ACCESSIBILITY AND PARKING
HUGAU APT has no private parking space. It can only be reached on foot along 350 metres of uphill cobbled road with steps. Internally it is arranged on one floor.
We would like to point out that it is not a suitable place for people with mobility problems and for your convenience, we recommend light luggage.

CARATE URIO & SURROUNDINGS
Carate Urio is a picturesque town located on the western shore of Lake Como, in Lombardy, known for its charming lake landscape and quiet atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for those seeking an escape from the daily hustle and bustle. Carate Urio is also an ideal starting point for exploring the Lake Como area, with many hiking trails leading to extraordinary viewpoints. The village is well connected thanks to public transport, such as the ferry and the bus stop on the main road that connects the village to the main nearby towns. The most beautiful restaurants in the area are easily reachable by car.
Please note that there are no supermarkets in Carate Urio. The nearest supermarket is called Bennet and is located in the village of Tavernola, 7.5 km away from the flat.

GETTING AROUND
Please note that the taxi service on Lake Como is not always reliable or readily available. We therefore advise against relying on it once you have reached your destination. We suggest evaluating alternative options such as public transport (buses and boats), hiring a car or using pre-booked private drivers.
We recommend the use of a car to make travelling easier.
The bus stop and boat stop are 600 metres away.
Easily accessible from the airports, Milan and Lugano, all of which are about an hour's drive away.

All guests are required to pay a tourist tax of €3.00 per person, per night.
In the cold period heating is an additional cost to be paid separately: € 7,00 / Day
It is forbidden not to sort waste as instructed, otherwise a penalty of €60.00 will be charged.
