"I only stayed one night in Areca B&B so I had limited experience. The room I got didn't look like the pictures, instead I had a small kitchen and a separate toilet/shower. The toilet room is also really small so might be challenging to sit down if you're really tall/big. "Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were attentive and helpful. Free breakfast were delicious with lots of options. Across the street from beach. Transport required a little bit of walking as the e-jeepney tends to wait a little further (only a few minutes walk and only an inconvenience of raining). Lots of steps to different level for the rooms so elderly and disabled should be aware. Only complaint would be the lack of lighting at the last set of steps to the 2 bedroom apartment. "Room had bad standard. The bathroom smelled diesel. Bad neighbourhood. We could not stay there and had to find another hotel after to nights. We will therefor ask for the money back for the three remaning days. "

"If it were not for Ms.Melanie, i hope i remembered her name right i would rate this hotel zero star. We had trouble with our reservation but she made every possible way to resolve it and provided us great service w/ the food and room. She does it all. As for the room and hotel, it needs an upgrade.
