Family Vacation
Great property! Perfect accommodations for our big family! Loved the pool and hot tub and multiple outdoor dining and relaxing options. The landscaping/driveway was beautiful and kayaking was a favorite of many.

Great property and experience
We had a very enjoyable stay with our adult children and spouses. The house was spacious and the grounds were beautiful. It was nice to have an enclosed pool area. Although the kitchen was well stocked with cookware, appliances and utensils, there was nothing else but foil, so we needed to buy basic items, such as coffee filters, salt & pepper, zip lock bags, etc. There were household cleaning supplies missing: kitchen trash bags, dishwasher & dish soap. We contacted the property management company and these things were dropped off for us. When kayaking, it was difficult getting back up on the floating dock. Overall, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend it.

The Home Fit well for our family
It was a good place to stay, liked the Kayaks, and the location. Kingfisher was responsive to any needs we had.

Great stay
Property as described. Nice new windows/doors and most of teh house is nicely remodeled. Kitchen a tad dated, but very clean and functional nonetheless. Great to have all the beach stuff and kayaks for use. Would stay again if ever planning a trip that way.

Beautiful waterway home
My family, 5 adults 3kids, an infant really enjoyed the bayside waterway home where wildlife of all kinds abound. It is spacious with plenty of bedrooms/baths for everyone. The almost private beach is a short walk across and down the street. The house has many screen porches and a roof top deck, a pool/hot tub, kayaks, bikes, everything for a fun filled time!

Not a luxury property
To be fair management was excellent (Paola was particularly attentive and helpful) and if you have a large group and do not care about being on the water you might feel differently, but having rented the property for my family over the holidays I was extremely disappointed. The owner (who lives in Europe) tries to micro-manage utility usage to the point where you have to request a change in temperature outside a four-degree range. You cannot control the pool heat. You can not access the bay either as the owners keeps his boat on a lift completely blocking the dock. No views, no fishing, you might as well be off the water. The only access to the water is through an unlicensed and dangerous plastic pad tied to the the bulkhead. This is where you have to fish and try to launch your kyack. The dishes, flatware, etc, were mismatched, worn and generally disagreeable. The grill was small, rusty and greasy. Most of the beach chairs were rusty and broken, of the seven bikes only two were functional when we arrived (we fixed two others) and the "kyacks" are a mess. The cable package was so bare minimum that you can not even get local channels in HD let alone CNN, ESPN or other basic channels. Not only do you need a Firestick, Chromestick or whatever to watch normal cable channels you also need to purchase an over-air antenna just to be able to watch national broadcasts in HD. The master bedroom does not even have a TV. For a very significant price for my two weeks of vacation, this was hardly what I was expecting. On the other hand, if you have 15 people who want to party this place may be great. Lots of land, lots of space inside the house, just not waterfront luxury.

Beautiful Captiva home
Beautiful spacious home. Plenty of room for my family of 8. The house was clean and well supplied with beach towels and kitchen items. The screened in pool and hot tub was great. There is a lock high on the door that leads to the pool so I felt safe with my three year old. Management was easy to contact and responsive when some minor issues came up. The house comes with bikes, kayaks, life jackets, and pool toys. It really has everything you might need. There is a small dock in the back but it holds the owners boat so there is no room for you to dock a boat. Beach is a short walk across the street. This is a great house and I would highly recommended it! If we come back to Captiva next year I would definitely stay here again!

Great Spot!
We loved staying here! The house was well equipped, meticulous and so comfortable! The grounds are gorgeous. The morning views of the sunrise over the water were beautiful. Eating and relaxing outside on the multiple decks and by the pool was a highlight for sure! This house lends itself well for a large family or multiple couples as each room has privacy and its own bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!!
