"Alberico's house is simply enchanting and so is the hamlet of Ponzanello. You really feel like you're stepping back in time (except you have access to all the modern amenities which is great)! The location is perfect if you have a car, about a hour drive to Cinque Terre, plenty of vineyards and other medieval villages to visit in the surroundings."

"Loved the decor and setting if the hotel, felt very luxurious abd very good value forvthecmoney paid. Great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner in both restaurants. Fab small spa, great massages. Only negative is that the pool is unheated so getting into the water was a bit unpleasant, there was rarely anyone swimming and also the sea was too rough to swim our whole stay (June), that is the only reason why we would not return.
