"I loved the hotel, however the room I was given was directly above the train station and the trains started kicking off at 0500ish, along with tooting their horns constantly. It was obvious I was there for work so I really needed a good night sleep and had I know that it would be so noisy, I definitely would have asked to change rooms. "I have the say the staff at this hotel were very nice and helpful I had hurt my leg a few days before the trip and hurt my self leaving the plane at Cork airport so by the time a arrived I wasn’t walking well and the staff made me feel as comfortable as possible and made sure to ask how I was doing on my last day. The breakfast was lovely and we made good use of the swimming pool. "

"Great 3 days at this property! The main entrance was under construction during our stay but it didn't bother us at all. The rooms have all been updated, they were very clean, all 4 adults were comfortable and felt safe. The breakfast is plentiful. The hotel is within walking distance to downtown Cork. There is very limited parking in front of the hotel, we dropped off our luggage at the hotel, parked in a downtown parking garage and walked the 10 minutes back. "Excellent hotel for facilities, location, comfort and courteous, professional friendly staff. This place ticks all the boxes and they have absolutely nailed hospitality from check in to check out. "Our overall stay was really good, i was extremely disappointed on checki. In , i paid for a triple room and was given a double room with 1 bed, as there were 3 of us including 15yr old boy when i requested the room i had booked i was told there were no triple rooms left and was given a fold up bed , which was not suitable for the size of the 15yr old"

"We used this church as a base of operations and did day trips. It was a lovely place to come back to and would stay here again. Lovely time!"

"The property is in a stunning location overlooking the mountains, a short drive to the pretty village of Kilmacthomas. There were ten adults in our party, for a family reunion. Games room well stocked, plenty of room and space for everyone. Couldn’t have asked for anything better, the host, Helen, was very communicative and we have no complaints in any respect,. Looking forward to our next stay. "

Large and clean room

"Staying in a newly refurbished room on the 3rd floor, everything was fresh and clean (though the pattern on the new carpet makes it look a bit threadbare in places). The fish and chips dinner was large and well cooked but the apple crumble dessert was disappointing as it was a small tart that seemed to have just been warmed up in a microwave and the ‘smudge’ of custard on the plate was barely enough to fill a teaspoon. Breakfast was plentiful and top quality, service for both dinner and breakfast was excellent. "

Lovely stay

"We had our daughters christening here and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. Tara from reception was so kind and friendly, my 3 year old loved her, she kept wanting to back to the reception. The rooms were clean and spacious, there was an issue with the shower—it wasn’t providing hot water at the time of the stay. However, this problem was outweighed by our positive experience with the staff, who were so kind and welcoming. Overall experience was good because of the staff's friendliness"

"We just enjoyed an incredible stay at Mews #6, while a large group of relatives rented four of the newer lodges on the Castlemartyr property. For ten nights we enjoyed cozy digs while being in very close proximity to the rest of the family. Although in need of a few repairs, the cottage suited us well, providing comfort and charm.
