"This property is a gem and right by the beach. We had perfect three days stay here. It’s a family owned and operated boutique hotel. The owners are very friendly and treat you like a family. "It’s a beautiful place with excellent service. Breakfast is wonderful, they have the best croissants. Place is really beautiful. Staying here is just experience on its own. "The property was excellent, newly renovated and very clean. It was very well located, walk distance to the city centre and means of transports. The only thing that there were a lot of steps to get to the apartment, there wasn't any lift. It was hard after a long day of walk. Any way, we were very happy to spend our holidays in such a nice property :-)"

"This property is essentially a B&B. don’t let the exterior scare you off. Room was very clean and the property had a rooftop terrace. Alessandro is a great host and ensured we had everything we needed. Bear in mind there is no elevator so you need to climb about 5 flight of stairs. Location is in the heart of Palermo within walking distance of everything."

"We stayed at Mondello Martini as part of a family vacation to Sicily. Hostess Amanda was very helpful and spoke English well. The room was very large by European standards, with a king size bed in one room and a twin bed bunk in a semi-private alcove. Bathroom facilities were super clean and modern. "After checking reviews of this place I was a bit worried but overall we did enjoy our stay. We are family of 4 and stayed 7 nights in bungalow. Accommodation was spacious and clean however very outdated. AC only in the bedroom so kids who were sleeping in living/dining area complained of a heat. This is a sport complex which is available to the public so at the weekends quite busy. But plenty of sun beds so no issue with finding a spot. Big swimming pool, however swimming cups are necessary....

"Property located adjacent to very old olive tree orchard. Scenic mountain back drop with ocean view. Spacious upstairs flat with full amenities. Beautiful pool and garden in the yard. Private driveway. Only 2 cons, must have rental car because located in a hard to access part of Trabia, roads are difficult to navigate. And property owners speak very little English, so just plan to use google translate. Highly recommend if you are looking for the real Sicilian experience!"

The apartment is spacious and located right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring everything by foot. Despite being in such a central location, it was surprisingly quiet at night, ensuring a restful sleep. " We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Grand Hotel et Des Palmes in Palermo for two weeks in January 2025, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel's rich history as a former castle has been beautifully preserved, and its stunning architecture and decor only added to our enchantment. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the warm and welcoming staff. The entire front desk team and concierge were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Special mention must be made of Marina, who introduced us to some of the most authentic and wonderful local Sicilian gems, hidden away from the usual tourist trails. Her insider knowledge and passion for the region were invaluable, and we felt like we experienced the real Sicily thanks to her recommendations and professionalism. Bruno, too, was a huge help, assisting us in finding our way around the city and providing us with expert advice. His kindness and expertise made a significant difference to our stay, and we're so grateful to have had him as a resource. The cleanliness of the room was beyond our expectations, and the breakfast in the morning was complete and nutritional. What struck us most, however, was the hotel's reputation among the locals. Every time we mentioned the hotel's name to anyone in Palermo, their response was and full of fond memories. One business owner in a boutique I shopped at told me she got married 30 years ago in the hotel. Amazing place"
