"The front desk staff were amazing at checking me in. The hotel room had in a small household refrigerator and a coffee pot. There was a nice little dinette. Everything was clean and welcoming. It is very walkable across the bridge to restaurants and shopping."

"We love the Monarch Cove inn and have stayed here when we visit Santa Cruz for several years. We were sad to learn Summer had left her position at the Monarch Cove inn. She will be missed. Her replacement Katrina was very welcoming and provided us with great customer service upon our arrival."

"My favorite vacation stay ever! I spent 32 days and loved every minute. Comfortable beds, great living space and the best balcony and view. Short walk to everything the village has to offer, right at the wharf and beach! I have already booked another stay!"

Didn't check off the sights in review, because we were just passing thru this time, but we have spent lots of time in the area and love the aquarium, the boardwalk, the UC campus, watching the local fauna in the bay, and Manuel's restaurant in Aptos.

Had there not been the worst windstorm in the last half century we would have enjoyed the peaceful locale even more. That was truly evident the following morning after the wind had stopped blowing. It's a lovely village with friendly people.
