But I messaged the renters and they just happened to have a cabin vacancy... they gave me the directions.. the key code and we worked everything out afterwards. A bonus was the property connects to Bessie Woods and we were able to go for a hike on the trails without even having to leave the property. "This was a perfect cozy escape for our weekend in Saratoga. Just off the beaten path, but close enough to downtown. Charming, rustic but definitely nicely appointed and clean accommodations. Secluded wooded surroundings. Plenty of comfortable seating inside and out. The host made us feel very welcome by leaving treats for our dog as well as for us too. This is a host that goes the extra mile. "

"We ended up not staying. The description says it is a cabin, it is an old manufactured home (mobile home). When we pulled in there was items scattered around the yard, the grass hadn’t been mowed. When we got to the first step the wood need to be replaced. There were holes in the soffit. Once inside the couches looked old and dingy. The inside needed to be spruced up. I contacted the property owner and told her our concerns. Her response was “Things and furnitures are as in the pictures posted...

"Barbara was so easy and nice to communicate with! The house was as described/looks in pictures and had everything we needed for our family (13 people), including a basement area where the kids could hang out and watch tv while we cooked in the beautiful kitchen!
