"What a lovely hotel! Upgrade the room and stay in the one facing the park. "

"The place was great and spacious. Lots of sunlight. Free underground parking. Small-to-Medium-sized bedrooms. Spacious bathroom and small but useful half bathroom. Nice small kitsch with excellent oven-microwave (used it to make frozen pizza). Bus stop right across from the building (all public transportation is free in Luxembourg)."

"Very nice property in an historic building. Definitely an old-school euro-style lodge...a little tired, but very clean and organized. Bathrooms are new and very nice. Showers are hot with good water pressure. Staff is very nice and accomodating. Parking is limited to only four free spaces however. Be warned that driving around Luxembourg is difficult...tight roads with heavy traffic, but there is easy access to the hotel. I would say that this hotel is a good option for families. "

"Small and friendly Appart-Hotel. When we arrived, we were informed that we had been upgraded to a larger room which was a pleasant surprise. The room was really nice and had a lot of things you would need to make meals. The coffee machine was also a welcomed sight. The bed was comfortable and we had a good night sleep until the church opposite woke us up at 7am. Thankfully we had set our alarm for then anyway! The hotel is next to a fairly busy road, so if you keep the windows open then you may require earbuds. There is a bus right outside the hotel, so you could easily travel into the city from there. There is a beautiful chateau and garden (which is free) a few minutes drive away. "

"I was warmly welcomed by a multilingual Front Desk Agent that provided me with all the info needed to get to my room, the internet connexion, the transportation to the city, a little and basic map of the city, etc. The room was basic but clean and well-sized. Free parking is a plus and the free public transportation around all Luxembourg made it very easy to reach the city within minutes. There is not much around the hotel, yet they have restaurant inhouse and a big supermarket is a bus-stop away. Overall, I would really recommend it. "

"My rating is a bit mixed on this as we ended up not staying at the property in Strassen. The owner proactively sent me a note a couple of days prior to our stay saying that there was some damage to the unit and offered another property of theirs in a different part of the city - which was very accommodating of him to do. The unit itself was similar to the pictures on this one. However, upon approval, the quality of the unit including housekeeping, furniture and figuring out the access to the unit were unclear. The furniture was cheap with one of the kitchen chairs broken and wet laundry in the dryer. I have been to spots before where dry laundry is in the dryer and we've had a heads up on that but we were not aware and the hung towels were also still wet. I put this less on the owner than the housekeeping but still unacceptable imo. Access directions were unclear but communication with the owner was in real time which allowed us to eventually access the suite. I would recommend having more clear information as to what to expect, entry points, etc. instead of what appeared to be a relatively quick and dirty turn around money maker. All that said, beds were comfortable, unit was clean, few amenities and Luxembourg as a city is a gem."
