The hotel was good. But the location was very noisy even at night.

Don't Judge the Book by the Cover
This hotel offered more than was expected. I was pleasantly surprised as the owner took great care to tend to every detail for my stay. Not the most convenient or prettiest of neighborhoods but if you are driving and want a roomy and well maintained place to stay, I strongly recommend St George's Lodge.

Good staff BAD location
This is an old electronics store converted into a lodge. Owners have taken great efforts to make it livable but the location is bad for vacation. First there is parking for just two cars. There are no good eating places nearby. You can not freely walk around the place. I feel sorry for the owners but I will not recommend it to my friends.

Hosts are fantastic!
Marianna and Petro were just wonderful. I had already arranged for an airport pick-up, and they were waiting with smiles!! The lodge was very clean and cute. Breakfast was fantastic. Marianna and Paul did a great deal of work for us to find a car rental - they went above and beyond to help us in any way. I would recommend the Lodge to anyone.

very central and affordable... from the outside looks a little run down, but inside its really smart and tastefully done, especially for the price. Close to all attractions, plus Woodstock as an area is becoming quite the rejuvenated trendy district so plenty to walk around there if that's your thing. The old hollow staircases do make for a bit of a 'loud experience' especially when guests come and go - could do with some sound proofing of sort.

Hotel für Schnewittchen und die 7 Zwerge
Erster Schock: die angegebene Adresse ist falsch. Es liegt nicht an der Mountain Road, sondern an der Kreuzung zur Hauptstr. Dementsprechend ist ohne Ohrstöpsel an Schlaf nicht zu denken. Man meint die Brummies fahren durchs Zimmer, da Schallschutz in SA ein Fremdwort ist. Zweiter Schock: Es handelte sich um ein Mehrbettzimmer mit ich meine 8 Betten. Zum Glück war kein weiterer Gast in dem Zimmer gebucht, so dass ich es allein für mich hatte. Die Optik ist nett. Das Bad ist hochwertig ausgestattet und hat mir am besten gefallen, allerdings hätte ich es nicht mit anderen teilen wollen. Ich hätte upgraden können für ein großes Appartement allein, allerdings für 950 Rand pro Nacht, was mir zu teuer war. Gefrühstückt wird entweder drinnen oder draußen. Es gab Toast, Wurst, Käse, Obst und Cerialien was positiv im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Unterkünften ist. Der Parkplatz wird ab 21:00 nur noch per Handyanruf geöffnet. Der Portier war allerdings supernett, so dass das kein Problem war. Die Lage innerhalb der Stadt fand ich gut, da man mit dem Auto schnell überall hinkommen kann.

中心地からやや遠い
WOODSTOCKという、中心地から東に車で10分ほど行ったところにありますが、夜は外出しないほうが良いでしょう （やや危険を感じます）。入口も外からの侵入を防ぐため厳重に施錠されており、呼び鈴を押すとスタッフが5cmほど扉を開け、「誰だ？」と聞いてきます。宿泊者であることを告げると、中に入れてくれます。一人旅などでは、やや度胸が必要でしょう。
