We completely enjoyed our stay here. We had extended family all together (older parents, 4 adult children and their kids) for a week. The house was beautiful! Very clean upon arrival. The listing was accurate so we knew what we would find. We brought a microwave as the house doesn’t have one. We had everything we needed for the stay.
The host is very responsive with any questions or needs.
The house is right on the water, with a small private beach, and my favorite part was the huge deck overlooking the water, with beautiful sunset views.
The house has 2 bedrooms downstairs(1 is in a separate suite with bathroom), and 3 upstairs. Huge open kitchen/living/dining area were we could all spread out.
If you have a mobility-impaired person, note that there are about 10 steps total going into the home, with some of them without a railing. Also, the dining table is countertop height, but we did find a couple regular height chairs and used the coffee table for our family member to be able to sit and eat. Just something to be aware of if this matters for your group.
Very quiet neighborhood, only a few homes on the street. The neighbors on either side are long term local people, so no beach rentals with loud parties going on. There is a nature preserve with beach at the end of the street also.
20 minute drive to Wildwood and the boardwalk, and 25 minute drive to Cape May shopping area. Lots of other things to do in the area as well.
We would consider coming back here.
