"The property is well appointed and beautiful. Clean, comfy beds and everything we could need at home. It is a few steps to a peaceful amazing waterfront area where we were able to wade and explore an area full of life. We saw a ray, a sea cucumber, many hermit crabs and cool shells. The sky, sunsets and stars were amazing. We very much enjoyed our stay.We enjoyed bike riding, taking the ferry over to Cape Lookout Lighthouse and the Core Island Waterfowl Museum."

"This was a very clean and cozy cottage. We went shelling on Cape Lookout and had a great dinner at Fish Hook Grill.We will stay longer next time and bring the boat, boat ramp is across the street!"

"Our group really enjoyed our stay. The house was probably the cleanest and neatest rentals we have ever stayed at. The owner was very nice and helpful. And answered a call, text or Vrbo messaging Very promptly. It was such a nice view of the water and wildlife. I really enjoyed being on the top floor and seeing the birds flying so close. We really were able to get the rest and relaxation we all needed. This is the place to stay. And it was accessible for our 2 disabled husbands. So that was wonderful aswell. Thumbs up!!!!"

"We were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful space with a private beach that was actually private and what became our special "place" before and after each day trip. We did bring our own beach chairs and table which were perfect out there. The house was clean and spacious and had everything that we had expected. We will be back!"
