Unique Family Home

Set on a canal near Cape Harbor,,this large, unique family home features everything you could want for a memorable and fun vacation. 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, large zero entry heated swimming pool with attached spa and grotto! 2 master suites, with large in suite baths. Upstairs master features a king size bed, balcony overlooking the pool and canal, oversized bath with large garden tub and walk thru shower, double vanity and separate water closet. Downstairs master features a queen size bed, jetted tub, double vanity and roll in shower. This bath is also handicapped accessible. Two additional bedrooms with two full size beds each and a full shared bath and balcony. There is also a pool bath located on the first floor. Large kitchen, with new stainless steel appliances, has everything you need to whip a meal to remember. Large great room/dining room combination has a full size billiard table and game table for those occasional rainy days or to get the family together. Outside is breath taking! Large 2 story screened lanai has a large zero entry pool (no steps) with attached spa. The spa is housed within a grotto that provides some privacy. Please see the pool and spa usage policies for more information below. The home is located in an ideal area close to restaurants and shopping. The home has everything you could want and more!


POOL AND SPA USAGE:
1) In order for the spa and pool to operate optimally, all settings, including heating, are maintained by the pool management staff only. We respectively ask that guests do not attempt to change any settings, as it can cause breakage or excessive energy usage. Guests can be charged for breakage and excessive energy usage.
2) The pool is heated to 84 degrees in the winter months. The setting may not be changed. In the summer months, heat assistance is not necessary for the pool.
3) The spa and pool are attached, therefore, the heater can only heat either the pool or the spa at one time. If the spa is run excessively, it will cause the pool to cool down as it is not heat assisted. Also, in the event that there are cool or cold evenings the pool temperature can drop overnight and will take several hours in the morning to heat back up.

Great place to stay

We had a great stay. Our boys loved the pool, hot tub and pool table. The boat captain was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Great family vacation

The house is beautiful. Plenty of room for all of our family. We really enjoyed the boat during the day and the pool and hot tub in the evenings. Hoping to come back next year!

Nice Vacation Home

Great home on the canal in a nice location. We loved having the pontoon boat to use and it was an easy process with the boat captain. The pool and hot tub were great. Communication was very good with the owners and check in was easy.

Excellent vacation.

Donna’s communication was superb. She gave us a heads up when recent flooding affected the property. She was accommodating and helped us problem solve any questions. Place and neighborhood was in a perfect location not to mention the chance to observe burrowing g owls. So special.

Feels like home

Our family has stayed at this property a couple times now and we just love coming here! It has everything we need, and Donna has the best hospitality with us. There were some issues with the boat and she let us know right away that it was broke, and was accommodating to the situation for our family. We had some trouble with the pool and they sent someone to fix it. On the last day the tropical storm was coming in and she opened up the home to us to stay longer if needed due to weather. She was caring and concerned when it came to our leaving with the storm. Thanks for another great stay!

Winter Break 2021

House was a wonderful all inclusive vacation. Pool was terrific and we took the boat to an island for lunch and a dolphin joined us for over an hour. Met all expectations and more.

Great Dtay

We really enjoyed our stay in this house. The house, pool, and hot tub were all very nice and clean. The house was spacious for our family and we were very comfortable here. The host, Donna was excellent with communication throughout the entire process. She answered questions very quickly. The house had pretty much everything we needed. They supplied a lot of towels for the pool, which was nice because we didn’t have to bring any and take up extra room in our suitcases. We went to the Lobster Lady restaurant several times. Their seafood was delicious!!! Would definitely recommend going. We didn’t have use of the boat for the week we stayed, which was disappointing but understandable. We would stay here again.

Memorable Vacation

The boat was the highlight of our vacation. We had a wonderful time exploring the Sanibel, Captiva's and Coya Costa islands. They are beautiful and very private. The house is perfect for a crowd. Kitchen well stocked, beds comfortable and the pool table was fun. We also enjoyed a dip in the hot tub when we returned from our day on the boat. Donna was a delight to work with. We will return!

The property was as advertised and the property manager was responsive to any concerns we had. The recent hurricane did impact the pontoon boat availability but that was entirely understandable. Overall it was a great location for some old guys looking to play some golf. Well run and decently set up.

Cold and leaky pool

The pool was cold. Not set at 84 degrees the first week. Had to wait a week to get it turned up. Food and used water bottle left on the floor inside the house. Shrimp parts left by outside eating area. Tv remote in living room didn’t work, really worn out. A lot of clumps of dust on ceiling fans in living room area.

Stayed 3 weeks. Beautiful house but with several issues. House advertised a waterfall but it was only on for 1 hour a day (at noon when we were not there to enjoy it). Pool pump and heater did not work for much of our stay due to electrical issues making the pool and spa unusable and no accommodation was offered. Ladies would have liked mirrors in the bedrooms when getting dressed. Be aware there are Cameras front and back, including the pool/ spa area which concerned the ladies.

Amazing Features But House Needs Work

Very mixed reviews for us of this property. The house and amenities were nice and you can tell it was fabulous at some point, but has not been well maintained. Amenities were great. The pool, spa, boat and pool table were the highlights! Everything was basically functional, but the boat lift canopy has been hanging in the canal since the hurricane 1.5 years ago. This probably contributed to the boat seats dry rotting and splitting. The gas cap was missing and replaced with a paper towel and duct tape. Boat captain was great and we loved taking the boat out. The ice maker was frozen up when we arrived and we could never get it to function, so bought tons of ice, plus it needed a new water filter so the water came extremely slow. The downstairs “master” toilet ran all night every 30 minutes. We reported these things, so hopefully they have been fixed. Property manager was helpful and a great communicator. Many other signs of long term wear like cracked and splitting floors, rust, mold, fence damages, light bulbs out, etc. Beds were quite hard, but all linens were provided with tons of beach towels. Kitchen was outfitted great with everything we needed for cooking. Very nice commercial grade washer and dryer. Little odd floor plan without doors between master bedrooms and en suite showers. We had no problem making the best of the place and had a great vacation!

Not as impressed this time:..

We stayed at this home last May as well and we’re absolutely thrilled with everything about it! This year….not as much. I understand there are new owners now. While the home, location, and boat are still wonderful - the home has started to fall into need of a little TLC. This visit, there were spider webs inside the pool area, the foliage on the grotto looked unkept, the beach towels provided were full of sand when we unfolded them for our use, the floors were not clean, the light above the stovetop was out, the fridge and oven were dirty, the outdoor furniture cushions were dirty - just needed attention. We did not have use of the hot tub the first 3 days, as the air blower needed replacing, the AC unit for upstairs struggles to keep it cool, and we had to have the plumber called for the upstairs tub, as it was not draining. Donna, the property manager, was quick to offer assistance and help, so we really appreciate her! I do hope the new owners will take the review as an opportunity to make this home as fabulous as it was last year!

Fun in the Sun

The property was beautiful, better than the pictures. There was space for everyone, you never feel like you're on top of each other. The pool and grotto were picturesque and very enjoyable. The boat...what can I say, it was amazing from putting around the canals to making the trip to Sanibel Island. There were a few minor issues that could be fixed or touched up but nothing that would keep me from coming back again next year! Donna was wonderful to work with, kind and prompt and Captain Otto was a wonderful teacher and very patient. This property is well worth every penny! I very highly recommend it!

Awesome stay

There were 10 of us ranging from 16 to 48. The house was amazing, the pool was a big winner but the most fun was had on the pontoon. We stayed a week and were on the boat every day but one! We would most definitely recommend this property!

Perfect Summer Escape

We stayed here over the 4th of July and have no complaints. the Master suites up and down are more than accommodating and very comfortable. The pool is just right to lounge around in all day with a cocktail and having a boat opened up options to explore the canals of Cape Coral. Would definitely stay here again.

Beyond Our Expectations

I can’t say enough positive things about this property and our entire experience with it. Donna, the property manager, was so great. Check in was a breeze, we just walked right in and got started on vacation. There were 10 of us and we never felt cramped. It’s a beautiful home with lots of extras and a ton of space! The pool and the pool table provided constant fun and having the pontoon was a huge bonus. Captain Otto was a blast during our familiarization cruise and we had enjoyed many adventures on the water. This property and the experience is one we will definitely visit again. Kudos Donna, Captain Otto and VRBO!

Wonderful vacation

Home exceeded our expectations. Loved the walk-in pool. The water temperature was perfect. Taking the boat to Sanibel was the highlight of our trip. Donna responded to any issue we had right away. Highly recommend.

A great house with everything you need!

Two families (9 people total) stayed here for a week. The house fit us perfectly. There were two huge master suites and two rooms for the 5 kids. All rooms had ceiling fans and the beds/bedding were SO comfortable. The main floor was open and provided pool/bumper pool to entertain the kids, along with a huge TV/couch that fit everyone. The kitchen had plenty of gadgets/tools/dishware. Check to see if they have something before you bring it with you - because they probably do. They had fishing gear, coolers, life jackets, sand toys/pool toys, and plenty of beach towels. But best of all, the boat was fantastic! We spent 4 of 6 days on the boat. Plan around 2-3 hours for your initial boat lesson and 45-60 min of a boat ride through the canals to get into the open water. The hot tub was hot, the pool was refreshing, and we had a great week!!

Fabulous Family Vacation

We absolutely loved our stay!! The house and pool were beautiful. The pontoon boat was the icing on the cake! There were six adults, one two-year old and two six-month old babies in our group. The house included two pack-n-plays, a highchair, a child fence around the pool and many pool toys and rafts to keep everyone happy. The kitchen was well equipped and there were ample household supplies for our two-week stay. We booked this house for next year. I highly recommend it,
